Where can i fit in abs and core?

Here is what my split looks like:
Day 1: Back, Bi, Forearm
Day 2: Chest, Shoulder, Triceps
Day 3: Legs
Day 4: Off
Ive been on this split for a months now, and I love it. But I really dont have any time for abs and core. I was thinking about adding a dedicated Core/Abs day.
Thoughts or ideas?

sgtstedankoLooks like you've got a whole lot of time for abs/core (which imho, are your most important muscle group for longevity in your life). Any time you can. I'd honestly switch up your routine a little bit. I agree w/Noel, def Mon for sure, as you're already working your back anyway. I also add them to cardio, if you run. Pre-workout: Sprints, w/explosive pushups(where your body leaves the ground)/Russian twists/mountain climbers, @ ea individual break from sprinting. Mix in balance board squats & mixed grip pullups on Mondays as well.

i pick 1 day a week to add a light cardio (long-slow distance.. 2-4 miles at slow pace) and add core to that day. not just abs, but lower back as well.
Judging from your split, a similar day could be put inbetween day 1 & 2, or make a "day 5." that would also be a nice way to pump, stretch, and push lactic acid away from your sore legs (because i know youre hitting legs HARD)

Sargent_SwoleYeah man just add them in where ever you like or every other day at that matter just do heavy working sets just make sure you have 24hrs of rest for each muscle!
