+ 5 its not the quatity of points but the quality of the information coming from the user
i notice a lot of guys still concerned about points these days and i will admit weeks back i was to but then i got to actually read peoples posts to where i used to look at their karma points before reading. i now know that its truly not the quantity but the quality of the information. some of these new guys coming in with no points blurt some really good info and are a noob to eroids but this doesnt mean they are not a fountain of knowledge. they are vets to the gear game but couldnt type 5 words a min and these old school guys are the guys i want to weed out and absorb their knowledge. i sometimes see some guys who have A LOT of points that just say some absurd things i just shake my head. Now granted there are some very "green" guys on here and you just want to reach through a computer screen and shake them but what i am trying to get across is here that we should all be critical thinkers in our approach to what we read and believe. also it is a lot harder to get points in this new system so if you see a guy rise fast there is a good reason. most of the times the the mods and gurus like what they said and it was some really good info and these guys award more points so if you care about points and are low use your experience and help others.
just my rant for the day before im off to hit chest.

I wonder if people on the site are starting to see a trend here. This is good. The more people start to call out the guys that just dribble shit and regurgitate someone elses opinion the better the site will be. I am all for helping out others (as most would have realised by now with me). However if you are making a bad call I will try and steer you in the right direction. If I have read the post and others are saying what I am thinkig and you still haven't got the message then I won't bother writing anything. Good work bro.

Agreed 100%! You never know who you may be talking to with that "New" tag. Could be a guy with a masters in biochemistry. Points are a good sign of how well versed someone is , assuming that if they've accumilated points, they must know a little bit. Only because the mods do a good job of keeping things in check. Just because someone has only 5 points however, means absolutely nothing. There are a few guys around here who act like they have a superiority complex. It's pretty funny. I say respect EVERYONE! Unless they start spouting the kind of shit that'll make their ass jealous of whats coming outta their mouth.

one of my older friends on here was getting flamed because his points rose fast and it struck me to write this post. i get passionate about some things then lead a rant at times. stay tuned your more than likely to see it again from time to time.
