+ 8 Today I start officially prepping for my first show

ad

I will be updating this post quite a bit! I know I'm not allowed to post self pics often so I'll be adding pics to this post as the show gets closer!

20weeks out today from my late April show. Will be doing juniors and open class. I know I won't be the biggest or have the best genetics on stage but I know damn well ill have my conditioning so on point it'll be NASTY. I'm very blessed to have a great support from you guys, and my awesome coach! He's prepping himself for his pro debut.. He's a good friend of mine and I figured if he can win a national show first try, bring amazing conditioning on top of the knowledge he's taught me through the year I've known him I should trust him!

Let's do this! Please feel free to bash on my legs.. Those puppies won't grow so they're my biggest focus this prep and trying to grow them into show!

THAT last pics was for Rusty. That is me THREE years ago at 137lbs same height at 17 years old. I'm 20 now.. This is to show some of these people here who complain they can't gain weight and figure that more drugs is the answer is WRONG. You can say oh maybe I hit a growth spurt ... My dad was 130lbs when he graduated and never grew. No this is from busting my ass in the kitchen.

*** newest back pic is from Jan 21st 2016, 17 weeks out from show! And I will be doing college nationals in july after my warm up april 30th! ***

Newest pic is Feb 1st 2016! 15.5 weeks out and a shitty side chest pose lol! I start posing class with one of the best in the PNW! Diet has changed a little but most of this fat loss is from cardio! Lots of changes in my diet says the coach within the next 5weeks to get me looking 10 weeks out! This is where the magic starts ;)

Looking fantastic brother! Nicely muscled strong and powerful physique! As you well know, diet is the key factor in a contest preparation! Keep it always clean and consistent! Great that you have an experienced coach! I wish you the best always my friend and I'm certain you'll emerge a champion! I'm definitely going to keep an eye on this post as it updates! +2 for a strong and robust build! Also for your love of this great sport! Much respect my always well mannered younger brother! :))

Theo is magic! I agree with all he has written! Remember young blood, the sky is not your limit, that is your starting point! The way I see it, you are ready for orbit! Keep smashing on those weights with no regard for the pain! The pain is suppressed by LARGE amounts of whole foods! Break your body down each and every session then nurture your body with the most important AAS it deserves. ANYTHING THAT BLEEDS!

Wise words! You have my full support! Refreshing...any other that stumbles upon this, soak it up! PERIOD!

If you have a coach then stick with his ideas and methods all the way through, to much info from all kinds of people can just confuse things.
A first show is learning curve and take what you learn from the next 20 weeks to make each diet and comp prep easier for the next time and be prepared to have high days and some low days as to where you think you will not be ready in time but this is just part of pushing you harder to get the end result.
20 weeks is a bit long for comp prep but as it's your first comp then stick with the 20 weeks which will give you some time to play around with your diet etc.
Good luck and keep us updated

Just a forearm tip, I felt mine were lagging so I started using this metal pipe with handles thing at the gym with a rope tied to it and a 25lb weight on the end. I'm sure you've seen one but I have no clue what to call it! Roll it up with your arms straight out 2 or 3 times then take a minute or 2 and go again. Repeat until u literally cannot roll it up. This has helped my forearms tremendously over the last few months. Doing them twice a week. Chest and back day at the end. Hits top and bottom of the forearm.
