+ 5 Birthday Update! Back from a long break!

ad

Hey Guy!!! Been a little busy lately. Recently took a while off of seriously training post show ! After my show may 14 I tried to train hard but I was tired and overworked. So mid June I stopped training like a mad man and only trained 2-3x a week to give myself a mental break!

Well, now its time to get back to business! With the help of a few big names in bodybuilding, I'm going to have one damn sucessful off season! These pics are my current state, I did NOT stop dieting. I have come to enjoy eating like I was in prep, so through the month off serious training I still did cardio and dieted. Reason being now my metabolism has stayed in check.

Now I'll bump up cardio for the next 2-3 weeks and get my insulin sensitivity and metabolism going hard, so as I start adding in foods my body makes better use of it! This goal in the off season is to focus more on my digestion and less of just adding food in at free will. Digestion is key guys, very big in our diet aspect.

I'm ready to grow! Also it's my birthday!

Interesting take on bulking for what would seem like someone whos got a high metabolism i dont understand why your still dieting i thought you wanted to bulk up to 240lbs ...sounds like a lot of cardio ..seems that energy would be better used training...happy bday

Ya 10 min aint much i thought you were doing 30-45 min sessions..i think if you feel over trained you should just eat a balanced diet at a maintenance level of calories food is must for recovery especially after a grueling diet and training regime for a bb show..nutrition is just as important as rest if your in an overtrained state or( any state as a bodybuilder )you dont want to lose that hard earned muscle by dieting post show too long Smile

Happy birthday mate.

I remember my 21st. I was dating this ridiculously attractive Italian girl. She dressed up as Princess Leia from Return of the Jedi as my birthday present........ Oh yes indeed.

Well happy birthday bro.

I will say this again as I have said it before, you have been on the right path and haven't said anything out of the way that I can remember just training, diet, and etc....

If the rest of the young members would do the same and listen and have respect they would also receive the same......You have set a good example.......

Good going bro. +2

Happy B-day. Still looking solid even with the time off. I little time off always seem to re-energize you. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

I hear ya. I brew my own beer and my 5 tap kegerator and nitro system sat dormant for 6 months while I was prepping. It was torture everytime I walked by it. All taps are flowing now and it is nice to sit down and have a beer with my 22oz tbone after my workout. My grandma who lived to be 101 said a beer a day kept the doctor away.
