New labtest, repost.
ad
This is my new bloodwork I just got done. Been trying to figure out what the hell raised my ast so much as in December it was only 80. I am taking xeno test 200, and also slu pp 332.
The only thing I can think is that the slu has raised those levels, or maybe dehydration. I am currently using tudka, and nac, with citrus Bergamont or whatever that stuff is called. I have been using the amino 1q along with the slu, but that is not known to be hepa toxic. Has anyone else done bloodwork while on slu?

Im starting to realize that exercise and then having blood work done really has an effect. I nearly always would have Leg Day on Fridays and then on Saturday mornings bright an early before being hydrated I would have blood drawn most often just because it was always my "trough" and worked out best in my schedule. However I would notice issues with my ALT being high or creatinine being very high. Next blood work Im getting much larger panel and making sure I am well hydrated and nothing for atleast 2 days prior.
I've had a similar experience - last time I had bloods drawn was with my PCP after logging 10 miles over the weekend and a heavy strength session the morning of my draw. The timing was great since it was my trough to check my T level, but when my AST was abnormal at 47 I think it spooked my PCP. He sent me a lengthy note concerned I may have fatty liver. I'm doing bloods again in about 4 weeks on my own and back to the PCP for his bloodwork in May to be really certain it is or isn't a liver issue.
Dkoon211Its hard to stop the grind
Agreed. I hate taking a day off or altering my schedule. Im a creature of habit.
Brother, I’ve honestly never seen SLU cause issues in biomarkers … if anything, most guys report improvements across the board.
SLU-PP-332 itself isn’t known to be directly hepatotoxic from the limited data we have. It’s a PPAR-δ agonist, so in theory it influences lipid and glucose metabolism more than liver enzymes. That said, it’s still a research chem… purity and dosing are always a question.
Did you see an HPLC test for this SLU?
There are people blending AICAR and T3 into their “slup,” so you definitely gotta be careful…
They’re cheaper molecules and can give somewhat similar effects at first glance, but the long-term outcome is completely different … especially when it comes to biomarkers, recovery, and overall stress on the body.
AST at 80 before and now significantly higher? A few things I’d consider:
Heavy training can elevate AST (it’s found in muscle tissue too, not just the liver).
Test + very intense sessions + dehydration can bump it up.
If ALT isn’t elevated proportionally, it’s often more muscle-related than liver-related.
Now, if ALT is disproportionately high as well, then yeah … either the SLU is contaminated/mislabeled(or it’s not SLU), or something else in your stack is stressing the liver.
Did you run any orals recently?
First thing I’d check:
Was ALT elevated too? And did you train hard 24–48 hours before the labs?
If you really want clarity, pull the SLU for 3–4 weeks and retest. That’ll tell you a lot more than guessing. Honestly, that’s the smartest move you can make if you want solid, real answers about it.
I personally don’t think SLU is causing issues, it’s actually pretty mild even at high doses.
100%
Dkoon211I did work out back and arms pretty hard the morning prior. Maybe 28 hours prior. Actually still sore as hell from that one lol. That definitely eases my mind. I really appreciate that input. I also use glow with 50mg of ghk which I completely forgot was taxing on the liver. But I only use 1mg worth of the ghk daily. So it was likely dehydration, with a hard back workout that did it.
What’s your tudca dose? Perhaps increase it
You would have to be taking high amounts of Glow that has GHK-CU to make the liver enzymes go up. I would stop the SLU and retest. Then if it is still elevated I would switch oils for the testosterone.
Dkoon211I already switched the oil, and still no acne. I have a really hard time wanting to go back lol.
Hey man, I went through an AST and ALT scare a few months back with accidently over doing GHK-Cu (incorrectly reconstituting the vial). This schooled me up real quick on how to get my levels back within range. Here's a breakdown with some insight. Best of luck getting back to optimal levels!
If your AST is elevated much more than ALT (like AST 137 with ALT 49 in that screenshot), the #1 “boring but common” explanation is muscle, not liver.
Most common reasons AST runs high
Muscle / training-related (very common)
Heavy lifting (especially legs/back), high volume, “new” exercises, hard conditioning
DOMS / muscle damage
Even things like long runs, BJJ, CrossFit
Rhabdo spectrum (rare but important): extreme soreness, dark urine, weakness
Alcohol can push AST up (often AST>ALT), especially if there was drinking in the prior 24–72h
Medication/supplement effects
Some supplements can irritate liver or be contaminated/mislabeled.
Testosterone itself usually isn’t as hepatotoxic as oral AAS, but it can still contribute indirectly (and if he recently used orals, that’s a bigger flag).
SLU-PP-332 is an experimental research compound marketed as an “exercise mimetic.”
5-Amino-1MQ is a research compound sold as an NNMT inhibitor; human safety data is limited and product purity is a real variable.
So: they could be involved, but the AST-dominant pattern still screams “check muscle” first.
Hemolysis (blood draw issue) can falsely raise AST.
Clues from his panel (in your screenshot)
GGT is normal (10) and bilirubin is normal, which makes a “blocked bile duct / cholestasis” pattern less likely.
Alk Phos mildly high can be liver or bone/training-related; GGT helps interpret that, and his is normal.
Practical next steps:
Repeat labs after 5–7 days with no hard training, no alcohol, good hydration.
Add CK (creatine kinase) ± LDH (these help confirm muscle source).
If still elevated, add hep panel (hepatitis A/B/C), iron studies, consider ultrasound, and review all compounds (including “research chems”).
Red flags = dark urine, severe muscle pain/weakness, jaundice, right-upper-quadrant pain → urgent evaluation.
Dkoon211Well, it was my first day back at the gym in about a month and a half the day prior. I did back and arms. I am still sore from it. But it was pretty intense. I have a feeling you are right. It is probably muscle related. I dont drink any more. So that's not it, but I will look for the creatine + ldh.
Good luck tracking it down man! You'll bounce back!
Dkoon211I think you are right, I want to start my next cycle soon. Just waiting on these levels to get back to normal.
