+ 1 Blood results TRT

ad

200mg test c/wk split into two 100mg subq injections
.5mg anastrozole/wk

First bloods taken day after injection. Second bloods done in the low trough before injecting later that day.

EDIT: just added my bloods from 1 month on TRT, initially once a week IM.

EDIT 2: added my old bloods from 2017 showing my even lower than remembered total T, 157 yikes! Also my crazy low SHBG, doesn’t even meet the threshold for measurement.

EDIT 3: added bloods for E2 and SHBG from 2018, went overboard with extra non prescribed Arimidex and crashed my E2, also SHBG still crazy low.

0.5ml of oil subq sounds very scary to me.
How does it dissolve, no issues??

I might be old school but I prefer IM injections, don’t like to experiment with these things

Never had any issues, sometimes there will be slight redness but nothing more. You can feel the lump for a few days after injection, but is gone within a week. I typically rotate around my belly button like with insulin.

Not sure why you're troughing w/the cyp ester administered twice a week. Also, where is your AI dose landing in regards to these bloods? Your numbers are spot-on. But dosing once a week should have your e2 spiking a bit here and there I would think.. +1 for testing and sharing btw.

Why subq?

ECinfidel's picture

Some docs and trt clinics administer subq. The guy I started w/did. Ive seen some studies arguing that it makes for a slower release. And obviously there's less trauma to the muscle fibers.
While I certainly dont do it now, for such a small amount of oil, I never had an issue.

Yes I've read and understand it makes for a slower release.. I tried before and was more painful to me than IM.. To each their own, thanks for sharing bro

Agreed. I had a few sub q pins that were painful. More so than anything ive done im in fact.

There are several factors that lead me to choose subq over IM.
I had read some research on frequent subq injections keeping blood levels more stable. Given that my SHBG is low (those bloods to be added tomorrow) I was experiencing more of a rollercoaster with both e2 and test sides doing IM once a week. Also since this is a for life thing, I wanted to limit the amount of scar tissue that I would build up in my muscle from frequent IM injections. Third, subq is much easier to do and I never get the soreness that I would get with IM.

Oh nice as long as it works for you that's awesome.. I can't do it, gives me knots.. I have no pip whatsoever from IM.. Thanks for sharing
