I have a large bourbon collection, just over 200 bottles. My wife keeps asking me if I’m going to drink the stuff or just keep buying it! Time to use that stuff and get BIG!! Nice stash
What is your favorite bourbon bro?
I get that question a lot and it’s hard to answer. I have a gem that I paid handsomely for, 16 year old eagle rare, that I bought in 2022, was bottled in 1995. I only have a small glass on special occasions and it’s amazing. Otherwise just depends. One story I share often is that my wife purchased me a bottle of bourbon called breaking and entering. She got this for me I think 2015. Wasn’t expensive about 32 bucks, but it was amazing. I drank it and then purchased another one. Drink that one and then couldn’t find anymore. I didn’t bother to read up on it the first time, but found out a group of wine maker from California bought some bourbon barrels and blended them together. Wine makers are very good at blending and tend to be very good. Bourbon blenders as well. I found a bottle in New York and then I found a bottle in Miami that I had shipped to me but now the price has gone up to $90 not including shipping. Then lo and behold about six months after I bought those two bottles I happen to be in Wisconsin walked into a little liquor store and sure enough there were three more bottles of this bourbon for 35 bucks a bottle I bought three. Now you can still buy breaking and entering, but it’s not the same liquid from that first blend obviously, after they blended everything from the barrels they had purchased it was gone.
Better than me! Most bottles didn’t make it a week couldn’t ever accumulate a stash of liquor!
I think that these demonstrations should be banned!
