Vacuums - Who still does it?

ad

I noticed that more of the old school bodybuilders swore by vacuums back in the day and they have basically disappeared off the radar in the last decade.

I just started doing three sets a day for 20 seconds each along as per Arnold's advice in an old video I saw.

Anyone else still doing this ancient movement?

I love vacuums...noticed a big difference since being consistent...tighter waist and looks much better from a front double bis
Do them every day first thing upon waking.
10x10 10second vacuum 10second rest repeat
Slowly increasing the times on vacuums keeping rest the same...up to 10x15seconds now with last one held for 30seconds after a little bit longer rest

I want to start... I think it works only know a few people that do them but they seem to work for them... I know Rich Piana swore by them and he had a pretty good taper from shoulders to waist

That is like the ear splitting whistle for me. I have practiced and tried time and time again, but I can't get the muscle movement quite right.

I do them all the time, very important for keeping the midsection tight

They will definitely hit your muscles in a different angle and can give a good workout in addition to your regular routine.

Yeah, I think I'm starting to notice a difference in just the flexibility of the my abdomen, if that makes any sense.

First thought it's about vacuum cleaners, when I saw the title of this topic. My wife definitely too often tells me that I have to help at home, traumatized me...

Judging from too many members selfies, they are oblivious to what a vacuum is

Maybe they don't have a wife or gf who's cleaning up for them Smile

Well some of the classic physique guys usually preach them like bumstead. Or ig influencers like Artemus Dolgin.
I think those are good for the core, even rich piana was a fan of them.
