TronWell, without stating your previous routine/routines ...I can only assume you haven't tried this new trend..WARNING..It's only for the advanced..
Looks like another crossfitter in the house.
I'd say knowing what you're doing now would be a pretty big step in trying to recommend what to do next, don't you?
hemlockOGI like Tony Hortons p90x
Richard Simmons style cardio
And a shake weight. Jacked.
Yep like what's stated below... we can't help if we don't know what you've been doing?
RustyhookerHow bout post your stats and current FULL workout. What's your goals? How long you been constantly lifting.
Can't walk in and just want a hamburger....
Consistent lift for nine years. Never really followed any program, four and five day splits are common for me. I work out a YMCA, very limited facilities in my small community, a lot of times I gotta go with the flow if a squat rack is tied up I have to able to vary what I'm gonna do. I jump around from 5x5 to work in the 12-15 rep range. Usually 3 sets of any given exercise. I try to focus on compound lifts first, with a few accessory lifts to balance things out.
I was just thinking the same exact thing. You can't give advice on a routine without knowing the person's goals.
i bounce back and forth with my goals, I'd have to say losing weight has been the primary focus. I'm starting to think that maybe I need to get away from that focus and try just to focus on strength and mass gains.
Whether you're goal is muscle gain or fat loss it's going to come town to one thing. Diet plan. Your food intake will be 90% of your muscle gains or your fat loss. Regardless how hard you work in the gym it's not going to fix a bad diet plan.
I'm gonna give tracking my eating on my fitness pal another shot so I can see what the hell im taking in, staying disciplined is a tough thing for me.
Well being disciplined is the only way to get what you want. Trust me I know this firsthand, feel free to look at my before-and-after pictures and you'll see what I mean.
Thanks, I'll do that.
