Quarantine workout
ad
So as of today my gym and the gyms within 20 miles or so, not that there's many, decided to close due to coronavirus.
Sucks but I get it cause for the small place I live there has been a number of diagnosis over the last couple of days.
This means home work outs for the mean time but I only have a couple sets of dumbells up to 45lbs and I prefer training heavy focusing on powerlifting.
What sort of stuff do you guys recommend for the time being, suppose it gives me time to try something new out? Probably perfect time to go on a cut seeing as people are clearing the shelves in the stores too

I've been doing home workout for 3 months, and I changed my style of doing exercises, like shifted to body weight exercises. Sometimes i go online and find exercises, which can help me in staying fit, with least equipment used.
TronI started to respond but just decided to write up this post.. it may help you..utilize those 45ibs dumbells with this..

Luckily I have some home weights that I will be able to use for the time being if my gym closes. I will be focusing more on higher reps since they aren’t as heavy as my local gym. Suppose it may Also help being a bit of a change!
The main thing I am worried about is actually catching it and not being able to work at all for a month or 2!
Turkish get ups if all you’ve got is a 45lb dumbbell for abs/legs/back
45 is more than heavy enough for shoulders/bis/tris
See if you can do 500 push-ups of differing varieties in under 15 minutes
I've seen people lately doing personal challenges of 1000 press ups a day - rather them than me though Lol
Molinin302I absolutely hate working out at home, and we have kids and space is at a minimum, BUT, one of my smart buys was an adjustable bench with no racks and a dumbbell set (plates with spin lock bars) and the set came with enough to go 100lbs each dumbbell. Can do a lot with that. It's been a while but I want to say it set me back about $350 for both items on Amazon. Best wishes bro.
Why not invest in a Barbell and some 45's then you can at least carry on training deads in the meantime? Training at home means you can also get those nice long rests in between the top sets without being rushed on equipment
I basically live in a shoebox. No space and judging by how the noise travels deadlifts will knock down the entire building. Also, neighbours called the landlord for me vacuuming too loud... one day home gym will happen just not here
I can sympathise bud - I live in an apartment so I have to use straps on the heaviest stuff so it doesn't slip out of my hands and go through the ceiling into my neighbours below Lmao and also I can't drop it once its up, has to be set back down quietly. A nice detached house beckons ....
This time sucks. But its a great way to really really focus on nutrition.. and i would burn them reps HIGH!!! It just may shock the body. Then when this sh-t is back to normal those muscle will explode when you introduce the heavy weights again
