Very broad question, mate. What works for one person doesn't always necessarily work as well for the next. I've always been told that my arms are exceptionally larger and defined and I have barely done much work on my arms in years. Mostly because they seemed to have developed much faster than the rest of my upper body. Since that time, any upper body exercises kept my arms large with little effort..that's just me. ,

With that said, my advice on arms is that if you're looking primarily for size then keep in mind that triceps account for roughly two thirds of your arm size, but of course, you don't necessarily need to (imo) overdo them because they are also being worked during many chest and shoulder exercises. So focusing a little more on your biceps, what worked the best for me was hitting them after a back workout and preacher curls along with dumbbell curls. However, the dumbbell curls were either done with the thumb pointed upward, or, turning the wrist to point the pinky upward during the curling motion to isolate the parts of the bicep. only in my opinion is that almost/just as important as the amount of weight, reps, etc.

Hope that helps, mate. By the way...defined arms will come with proper diet if you've already got the size.

I definetly think carbing up before aworkout helps so much to grow. The fuel to lift big is EAT big
