CUTTING

ad

Hello
I have been a member here since 2013/2014 previous user name spike03z which I lost access to recent
So to my question
When cutting what kind of training methods and how much cardio do y’all do. I understand cutting or bulking is 70-80% dependent on diet.
Thanks

0 cardio* and Calorie deficit

*all training that elevates your heart rate is ‘cardio’. As far as HIIT/LISS cardio, i avoid as much as possible. If cutting for something like a beach weekend or wedding, etc, i will add in short HIIT workouts in the morning and add 5-10 minutes of walking to increase steps, but i don’t really do cardio.

The body adapts to everything thrown at it, and it’s adaptation to cardio is by becoming more efficient with calories which slows down your metabolism, aka the rate at which you naturally burn calories... seems counterproductive right?

I do well w time under tension movements, high reps, less rest time, super sets, then try to incorporate hiit exercises after my workouts. Jump rope, speed/heavy bags, sprints, or some good ole burpee and jump squats.

Lot's of fat burners including T3 Albuterol etc. Coffee. On point the main thing is diet, diet, diet! As far as cardio as much as possible based on my conditioning.

I try for high reps lighter weights; works for me!

What do I do? High volume with low reps on primaries and lots of backoff accessories for higher reps. Movement pattern split 4 days a week About 45 minutes of fasted cardio in the morning every day.

You asked, I answered. Not sure what you’ll get out of it, but there ya go. We all have our methods. But pretty much anything will work as long as diet is on point and your hormones aren’t all fucked up, tbh
