Canned Vegetables Rant

ad

OK Look... Is it me or is there way less servings than it says on the can. Either my scale is fucking broken or I'm getting jipped. ABOUT 3 1/2 servings it says on my can of corn and peas... 125 grams for half cup... I only get about 250 grams each from both cans.................................... Should it be close to like 400 grams each?? Like I just got back from the gym and love to slam down my corn and peas and strawberry protein shake then take a massive shit. But I keep thinking WTF D:. WHERE IS MY FOOD DAMNIT IM HUNGRY. Ok /rantover.

Frozen or fresh is better! U get more and for cheaper frozen esp if you buy store brand. Canned you pay for the can basically. It's deff healthier

vvvvvv They are right. Frozen > Canned. Less sodium and tastes better IMO. I usually steam them and store about 3 days worth in my fridge. Eating them with just about every meal.

Really frozen or fresh is much better for ya... Check out the sodium content on canned veggies, its high, also they have had virtually all the vitamins boiled out of them when they are being prepared for canning.

I dump the water out then heat it then weigh it so idk. Sometimes if I'm bored I will just crack open the can and drink my veggies.
