Stomach Problems? Accutane?
I was prescribed Accutane before it was banned.... Had to run it a 60mg i think for 6 months? TO damn long ago to remember... BUT THANK GOD FOR INSURANCE! Trying to get me to pay fucking 3000$$+ a month for that shit. FUCK YOU I JUST WANTED MY SEVERE ACNE TO GO AWAY. Got blood tests for 8 months(A Test before i started, Test for each month I was on, And a test after I was off). To make sure my liver/kidneys were fine. And they were.... The shit worked though. Acne was gone but still have little breakouts but not has severe where my face looks like a fucking pizza anymore. I don't think the slight loss of vision was worth it though. And Chronic dry eyes. And now I think my stomach problems could be because of the Accutane? I'm trying to find my paper work... They also gave me like 5 pages of side effects that im trying to find. If I find a doctor that can link my stomach problems to Accutane and that the side effects weren't stated do you guys think I can Sue?
Yes I'm a money hungry bastard BUT WHO ISNT. And plus feeling like I have to take a shit all day after my first meal even if its something small or a snack like some carrots.... These stomach problems have pissed me off so much lately that I even took a shit on my work bathrooms floor and wiped my ass with toilet paper and put it in the trash and stuck it to the walls inside the restroom. Now I need to find a Gastroenterologist.
I'm not serious about that shit part though. Was just to express my anger. Almost did though!

AnonNo way to know for sure that it was the accutane. I was on 60mg for 6 months when I was a teen for my acne and I luckily didnt get any permanent sides. Definitely dried my skin out tho.
Might as well meet with a lawyer and get a free evaluation of your case. If you got the time, why not?
i'm on 80mg/day of accutane to clear up some severe back acne that showed up during my last cycle. i'll have to run it for 6 months, been on it for 3 months. haven't experienced any sides other than dry chapped lips and dry eyes. no intestinal problems, no stomach problems. what you're describing sounds a lot like irritable bowel syndrome, which is listed as a side effect albeit a very very rare side effect of the medication. from my initial research, the problems that some people experience with accutane show up while they are on the medication. if you are saying that you were taking accutane before it was "banned" (which it's not, rosche no longer produces ro-accutane, but there are plenty of brand names and generics still available and still being prescribed) then you were taking accutane a long ass time ago, and i doubt any doctor is going to attribute problems you're having NOW with accutane that you took years ago.
i doubt accutane has anything to do with this , even though the sides are bad
