Got RT3 results and do have RT3 issue. So mad, I have not had issues with weight before TT. Doctors don't beleive in T3 and I really want to buy from source, but Vermodje got back to me, they don't knoe the ingredients. Still waiting for Genza, I followed up. It's been a while, my inquiry probably got ignored.
I could try it, but if it has gluten I will get more of an absorption issue, then my anemia will get worst and RT3 worst.
Keeping healthy is not easy in the US. I want to be able to take care of myself and be an athlete
I've just read in your profile you had a thyroidectomy (as have I). Don't self dose / buy T3, see the doc.
Don't want to sound pessimistic. I don't trust trad doctors. I knew I had thyroid cancer and I had to beg the doctor to do a biopsy. I called a few Endos and only 1 agreed to see me. He was upset that no one wanted to refer me.
Had so many tests done with Gluten Ataxia that I compiled a few findings that pointed me to want a biopsy. Metastatic Papillary Thyroid cancer :(
I have an Endo because it's needed. But I have to beg for everything and then end up online anyways.
I'm in the US. It's impossible. I see a naturopath, but state laws they can't prescribe.
I lost an Endo because I made them give me Natural Thyroid. I have a T3 conversion issue. Now RT3 issues. I'm suppressed with low T4 and really low T3.
I take selinium, iodine. Other vitamins after 4 hours of last dose. I am always dipping to anemic, then too high, then anemic again. I am GF for almost a year soon, been paleo since the Spring. Supplements that I find that are good to convert T4 to T3 are no-no for people on thyroid meds. I fee there is no hope to stay healthy.
It's different here in the uk due frontage way the NHS works. They don't prescribe T3, only levothyroxine (T4) as it costs about a fifth of what T3 does to produce. Lots of people complain that they never fell "right" after thyroidectomy over here as a result. I get tired a lot and a few mood swings etc.
I had a total thyroidectomy about 7 years ago. If you ever need to talk / moan to someone about it, feel free to drop me a line.
Thank you. I sent you a friend request. Yes, I need friends (I don't have any) who had a TT and who care about their health. I'm not a bodybuilder, but I did take care of myself, enough to do a few cycles.
I've heard about that the UK doesn't approve T3. I get the lecture and I tell them I don't want to hear it. I had a Mayo doctor telling me I will save by going with T4 only.
I've had to self dose. Endo had me on 65mg for a full thyroid replacement. Was so sick. Learned a lot from http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ There's also a FB page https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/FTPOWithoutAThyroid/?fref=nf
Over here it can be prescribed but very, very rarely is. I know what you mean about the lectures, I don't respond too well either!
I've seen that website. Problem with endocrinology is it's a "blunderbuss method" that medics use, (I work in research science so understand the mechanics of drugs), that really starts off as guesswork. It's similar to how a mechanic works on a car, there's a problem, they go through a checklist systematically. It's all based on the patients perspective on how they feel and bloodwork that doesn't always correlate to the patients view. I have blood tests that say I'm in the middle of the range and I feel crap, then I have one that says I'm outside of the ideal range yet I feel better......
Anyway, got your FR and accepted it. Drop me a line anytime.
We can't discuss labs in the forum.I would directly email the lab who makes it if I were you.
Didn't realize I asked for labs, sorry. Probably why all my posts get deleted.
Just looking to see if gluten would be in there (hidden as a starch). I have Gluten Ataxia and gluten causes progressive disability when ingested, similar to MS symptoms
Ya can't talk about labs or sources in the forums. I just sent you a friend request tho so I might be able to make suggestions
