My cutting diet.

ad

Whats up guys, I plan on starting my cut in about three weeks so I would like to get my diet and macros squared away. I haven't thought out exactly what each meal will be but I just want to know you thoughts on my macros and carb timing. Im thinking 300grams of protein, 150 grams of carbs and 100 grams of fats. Im going to eat 50 grams of carbs at breakfast, 50 pre workout and 50 post workout. What do you guys think about this? and Is my fats to high? This comes out to 2700 calories a day. Stats right now are about 220, 15% bf.

Hey mate, you are pretty similar to me in regards to weight an BF. Evidence for protein on a kcal deficit is about 2.9 - 3.1g/kg/day I believe so your protein is looking good with that respect. To be honest I think you could do with dropping fats to around 50-60g and then making the rest up with carbs. Not sure on the evidence to do with basing carbohydrate intake around workout but what I am doing now is having 200-250g carbs on workout days and dropping down to around 150 on non workout days. Hope this helps mate.

Thanks bro I appreciate the input. This is my first time cutting, Ive been bulking non stop for years now so I don't really know what to expect. I thought my fats might have been a little high but I'm wasn't sure. Im gonna take you advice and drop them to 60gs and up carbs to 200 a day and lower on rest days. With those macros that will put me at aboud 2550 calls a day so I think thats a decent starting point. Eating the carbs earlier in the day vs total daily intake might not matter that much but I figure ill burn them off during the day, and the 50gs in my PWO shake will go directly to my muscles so will see what happens. Ill adjust accordingly. How is this diet working out for you so far?

Its going really well, i'm on tren, test, mast so I'm not losing much on the scales but its noticeable in the mirror. As you said its all about adjusting accordingly, see what works best for you. Hope it goes well, keep us informed.
