Fats.....

ad

Just a question what constitutes good and bad fats as have been trying to do some digging and its all brain boggling stuff.

There are no bad fats, only bad sources of fats. Saturated fats are great for you, and so are some unsaturated. The problem is when saturated fats are stipped of their nutrients, CLA's Omega 3's etc. they become for lack of a better word , useless.

how do they get that way? animals fed an unnatural diet, & chemical and manufacturing processes of certain oils.

Any fats from grass-fed/pastured animals are "Great fats" same with raw coconut oil and cold pressed olive oils, Avocados, nuts and seeds. raw butter and milk from grass-fed animals, whole eggs from pastured soy-free chickens.

Fats that come from processed stuff like canola oil, seed oil ( sunflower, etc.) meat fat from animals fed grain, corn and other crap, processed milks, anything hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated, etc. These are BAD fats.

ps. cholesterol is not bad! it is what makes up testosterone, Vitamin D, and tons of others stuff. Heat attacks are caused by damage to your arteries of which cholesterol is the body's natural repair substance (sort of like spackle on a wall) to much inflammation and damage and the spackle builds up and blocks you. So what the real problem?
