+ 1 17- when to stop cutting?
So for the past 4 weeks I been cutting because I felt a little uncomfortable about my body fat. I know people will question my diet whilst on the bulk - but that's in the past now and I will learn from those mistakes.
I have gone from:
Week 1:
Weight: 89kgs 196 lbs
Fat Mass: 16.1%
Lean Mass: 39.6%
To:
Week 4:
Weight: 85.5kgs
Fat Mass: 15.3%
Lean Mass: 40%
Now I don't plan to be shredded or anything like that, but to lose as much bodyfat without losing much lean mass. This is my first cut so I would like some of the other more experienced members suggest at what at bodyfat percentage I should stop cutting so that I do not lose too much lean mass.
This is my first post so please go easy on me ;-)

Good luck
Keep your fat/weight loss to around 1-1.5 lbs/wk and you should be dropping mostly fat. Cut the weight to fast and you can expect to lose a significant amount of muscle as well. As far as a magical number where the drop in weight switches over to more lean mass being lost vs BF....there really isn't one. Do it slow like I mentioned and you shouldn't have a problem. You will notice that as you lose more fat and become leaner the amount of weigh/fat you lose on a weekly basis will become less and less and it will be harder to lose more without getting into more extreme dieting and fat loss techniques. This BF fat level where this happens is different for everyone. Some people may be able to hit 8% no problems and for someone else it might be 12% before they have to start taking it to more advanced/extreme dieting techniques. You will just have to find out where your point is.
Here is +2 for posing a good question.
Thanks for your response, I really appreciated!
