BigBmajI don't like to mix fats with my gainer shake only because I feel like there needs to be a huge amount of carbs in there. I think when I'm spiking my blood sugar its best to keep the fats out for awhile. Remember fats cannot be utilized for energy when insulin is present.
If its working out for you great. Its just something I've noticed over the years.
I was using Optimums Gainer but its too expensive. Now I use maltodextrin, creatine, and whey. Seems to be working nicely.
Seems like a lot of fat in there no offense. How have the gains been while you been using this recipe?
The olive oil has fat but it's all of the good fats we need. I'm trying to bulk right now so I'm not too concerned with a little bit of fat. I did switch from whole milk to 2% Lol... I'm not a real big eater so I need the extra calories from the shakes to put me over my maintenance calories needed to gain.
Totally understand having trouble eating huge amounts but really do try and get more than 80 percent of your calories and macros from something other than a shake. Not saying you.
waltri use 1 1/2 cups oats, 2 cups of milk, 2 scoops of protein powder and a banana for my first meal and i'm trying to cut some weight =/
although those are the only carbs i have for the day and i drink it after morning cardio
That would fill up the whole blender
That would fill you up for sure.
It's pretty easy to drink bigjrock and 2 hrs later you are ready for another meal...I've added about 10lbs of body weight with this. Well this and a little test and tren lol.
