This might be a dumb question, we all know you have to eat. What if your job can't allow you to eat 5,6,7 times a day. Is there and protein powders or super charged food to take place of the meals you can't eat while at work. I know there's a lot of food you can eat that's high in protien, but I feel like if I can't eat the meals I know I need to I won't gain and hold what I need too. Does anyone else have this issue, any suggestions, any help. Thank guys

Anonthis section is general talk steroid related... This should go in diet and nutrition... Post in the right place guys, I'll move it
DIET is essential in this sport. Your gains will suffer if your not eating right.
Sometimes with tight schedules you have to be creative with your food preparation.
Pre pack your meals so there easy and convenient. Keep some protein power (WHEY
ISOLATE) at your work place.
Be creative brother...if u have time for a bathroom break u have time to eat....load up a low carb tortilla with turkey n ham or tuna...my mid morn meal is a turkey ham wrap banana n yogurt or protein bar...under 5 mins to get it down...do the same for the mid day meal also...u will get used to pounding down that meal in no time
Bring a bunch of protein bars with you and munch on them throughout the day.
Oh-Yeah bars... Favorite one is like snickers on crack. Chocolate caramel.
Please give a little more info as to why you can't eat "meals" at work. If you can carry a shaker cup and have time to drink it, you have time to eat real food. Been on jobsites with no microwave so we put our Tupperware in the engine compartments of the welders, light plants, manlifts, etc. You gotta get creative dude. No scheduled breaks, carry your lunch box with you and snack every 2 hrs. I can't think of a single job where you couldn't take a couple minutes to grab a quick bite.
We used to heat our food up by stacking them and then blasting the radiator on job sites... Plumbers got creative and used their butane torches to heat up a metal plate under their food.
Yeah man you gotta get creative. It gets old eating cold food all day.
Pocket food. I'm in the same boat. Little bags in the pocket. Plenty of peanuts, cashews. Like said below the bag tuna is easy and quick. I had the same ? Awhile back but learned how to adapt. If you wanna eat you will find a way. And get your ass up twenty minutes before the alarm goes off and eat. I think we have all been there at least I was. Had to figure out how to eat on the working man's schedule.
Maybe a casein protein powder. Can you have quick nutritious snacks? A baggie of almonds and raisins...granola...dehydrated fruit and turkey jerkey...tuna packets(pouches of tuna...lemon pepper flavored etc) easy to rip open and chow down quick. Going extended periods of time with no food is very counterproductive.
If you prepare foods beforehand it is really easy to pound it down in no time. For instance a chicken breast...if you have a minute and some water you can hammer it home. Alot of times I have no time to "enjoy" my meals throughout the day but I always have a bottle of water. Take a bite take a drink, chew/slash drink your food. You gotta get that food down and you gotta have food in ya!
I've literally lived on cold chicken breasts tuna and nuts the last year or so. I get a big jar of unsalted premium nuts at Sam's. Gotta watch that sodium.
Most definitely! Once you learn to absent mindedly inhale the "fuel" foods...it becomes 2nd nature. Food for a purpose...it actually makes the meals that are to be enjoyed that much nicer lol. Unsalted nuts are a life saver when you need a quick nutritious source!....could make a joke of that last line but fk it..
Make your meals bigger with more calories and eat three times per day.
There ya go..this as well.
