+ 4 1000cal per litre Smoothies!

ad

Ive been experimenting quite a bit with some beastly blends these last few months! For some of us gaining weight with or without steroids is NOT an easy task! After many a reswallow and nostril chunder ive managed to design a smooth, surprisingly tasty high calorie smoothie that 'I' quite enjoy and can whisk up in minutes..

Ingredients

3 cups Roasted and salted Almonds, cashews, walnuts and peanuts!
Cup Olive oil!
Cup Peanut butter or nutella
2 cups Powder milk
Cup Honey!
Bottle of egg whites!
1-2 cups Oats
Fruit (whatevers handy! But normally banana)
Fullcream milk!
1-2 Avocados

Some of you may not be to handy around the kitchen and may lose a hand or 2 trying to figure out to use a food processor (blender)
So dont be to shy to ask your mrs for some help ;p maybe u could make her a sammich while you wait lol! Aanyways..

Step 1, place all dry ingredients in a bowl and out the way you dont want to add them just yet..

Step 2, add a litre of full cream milk in the blender and add ur peanut butter or nutella, add fruit, add olive oil and everything not considered dry to the blender! (If u start with the nuts you end up wasting half hour cleaning shit out the blender its messy and i learnt the hard way!!)

Step 3! Gradually add dry ingredients and give it a good blend each time u add it 'gradually' !!
If it starts to get to thick add some more milk..
Add the honey last as this can cause chaos if u add to many nuts and shit gets thick too quick!

The eggwhites can be touch and go gents if u add to much with the liquids it can thicken up pretty quickly.

If at any point u think its too thick to drink and youd need a spoon to eat it than just add milk or olive oil! My whole philosophy to this recipe is to get as many nuts in as possible while leaving it as drinkable as possible! Ive made em at a consistency of around 2500cals a litre but its just not feasible to drink this every few hours every day :/ !
I tend to make 2 and a half to 3 litres every day or 2 and if theres ever any left overs i share it with the kids ;p they love the stuff!

Ps i dont always add the oats they tend to make it to thick go much thicker if left in the fridge overnight! And arent nearly as dense with calories as some good quality nuts!
U can pick up a kilo bag of crushed macadamias, cashews and what not for under 10$ in most australian supermarkets and imo u wont find a cheaper diet as far as calories are concerned!

Im hoping theres a few smoothie fiends out there willing to share their recipes and maybe even we could design a 2000cal per litre blend that the kids would eat! (I base my success on the kids scoff rate lol!) weve had some pretty scary moments tho let me tell you..

Soo... Pls share guys! Opinions and criticism are more than welcome!
