All the new prohormones are trash. They are two step conversion which is damn near worthless. Back in the day of Andro and 1AD... They actually worked. But all of those substances have been banned and supplement companies have used the same old school names and names of steroids to trick fuck you into buying them these days. I ran 1AD 20 years ago. Put a solid 15# in me in a month and I kept it. I moved on to actual roids and never looked back.
For asking a question about products that claim to be precursors to steroids? I think not. In fact, I got a lot of great answers and hope others benefit from the others kind and relative responses.
I did not say I was going to. I was simply curious and I certainly won't try them now that I have been educated on them. I see a lot of ads about it and thought I would ask the very people who would likely know about it. Tons of brands. Who knows. Maybe someone who is planning on taking them might not now. Hard to tell what's good or not good anymore.
I've done prohormones a couple of times, Bro. I got em cheap. I lost at least half my gains after my cycle. A PCT program is a must. You've got to think about estrogen, low test and cortisol. They are really just weak steroids, or at least they used to be. I don't know if the newest ones are any good.
Prohormones are extremely harsh on the liver because they are methylated. In order to see any results from their use, you would have to run them longer than what would be considered "safe" even for legitimate oral AAS, such as dianabol or anadrol. However, the results you would attain from prohormone use would be nominal, relative to the latter substances mentioned.
If you want to fuck up your liver for results that are not on par with what could be expected from the use of legitimate AAS, and for triple the monetary cost, I would advise you to reconsider for the sake of your health.
Aren't there non-methylated ones on the market, Bro? I don't know how good they are, but I thought I've seen a few brands advertise that. The only time I used prohormones, I ended up with results similar to creatine monohydrate. I don't remember what prohormone I tried.
Any product marketed as a prohormone that is not methylated is NOT a true prohormone. And why risk liver damage for something that gives you results which are only comparable to creatine, assuming it is a genuine prohormone? Just take the creatine instead -- it's much safer.
I agree for the most part, but there were some "good" ones back in the day. Ergomax, Pheraplex, the original 1AD/4AD, etc. I even remember this topical 19-Nor precursor...that shit was wild.
I don't think so. I've seen some weird shit in supplement shops but it's hard to say what it really is. My guess is for how toxic and weak they are compared to what was around before the ban, they are 100% not worth it.

I believe You are just wasting money if You decide to try prohormones.
Thank you for the input. I believe you are right. I think they are only expensive in order to give the impression that they are effective.
I think you are on the wrong site.

Why use a precursor when you can actually use the real thing. Makes no sense.

Thank you.

Good point. You can get some nice results from creatine. Why risk the problems of prohormones?
RustyhookerNo.
Stop. Get help.
Really? There's no need for that.
agree, avoid them!!
Thank you.
Just don't.
Did not plan n taking them. Was just curious.
AnonNo. They are garbage.

Super dmz rings a bell 20 years ago
RustyhookerThats over 20 years ago though.
Very true. I guess his question was in relation to what's available in todays market of prohormones.
Are prohormones even around anymore?
I don't think so. I've seen some weird shit in supplement shops but it's hard to say what it really is. My guess is for how toxic and weak they are compared to what was around before the ban, they are 100% not worth it.
RustyhookerThose 1st and 2nd gen prohormones were strong. But each time they had to rework the chemistry to not be illegal...it got weaker and harsher.
Thank you.
RustyhookerNo. Theyre hazardous....harsh on system
Thank you.
