+ 11 HEALTH SHOT IN 4 MINUTES
Hi guys,
PLEASE try and keep this post karma free. I want us to discuss ideas and health tips we all use on a daily basis.
This is my health shot I make 2-3 times a day. I'll list all ingredients and some of the health benefits.
3 carrots
1 Apple
1 lemon
Beetroot juice
Small piece of ginger root (cleaned).
I use a nutribullet to blend everything together after chopping onto small pieces and then down the hatch.
APPLE
• contains ployphenols
• high in fiber
• research suggests that Apple's could be as effective as statins
• promotes gut health
CARROT
• high in vitamin A,C,D,E,K magnesium and potassium
• protects eye health
• high in beta carotene
• has been used in Alzheimers study's and shown to reduce cognitive decline via lowering oxidative stress
LEMON
• promotes hydration
• high in vitamin c
• aids in weight loss
• helps prevent kidney stones
GINGER
• reduces nausea,inflammation, and even light to moderate pain
• strong immune booster
• helps reduce cholesterol and maintain healthy blood sugar levels
MY FAVOURITE BEETROOT JUICE
• reduces blood pressure via nitric oxide production
• good for skin health
• very strong anti oxidant
• boosts energy and stamina
• helps with digestion
• low res blood glucose
We really don't need to reach for big pharma for all the vitamins we need as nature provides us with them all. We just need to take the time to RESEARCH what's out there instead of being told what we should take in pill form.

Found a few studies on apples and they don't get the credit they deserve imo.
Beetroot juice Is unbelievable for us (especially blood pressure).
I've tested this many times with my BP machine roughly 20 mins after a large glass I see a decent drop in numbers and feel better for a good few hours.
I can't take the credit for this as it was my boxing coach that made us drink it before fights ;)

Nice post. I make something very similar but I also incorporate orange. And you are doing yourself a true service by blending it all together as opposed to just juicing. While juicing is great . most of the valuable fiber is removed via the pulp. By blending you get the benefits off all the nutrition these foods offer.

I'll make 3 lots most days mate but sometimes miss my mid day one but always make sure I have one at night before bed.

currys have got the nutribullet on sale for £50 im gunna buy one now and have a play around this week site says it will be here Tuesday .
i used to eat loads of fruit but dont get as much in as i used to so ive got a tablet box with all different vitamin supplements in it that i have in the morning .
i walk down the street rattling .
ive just watched a few videos on youtube they look class
£50 is a bargain mate. You should get a recipe book with it to get you started.....there recipes are good also but like you said you'll have to have a play around with it.
Beets the pills mate
Not the nutritional dense drink like yours mate but a personal favourite of mine is.
Almond milk, frozen berries, whey protein, full fat yoghurt. This is the base and I'll add things like figs, avocado and other super foods depending on what's around the house.
Tastes amazing, packed full of goodness and energy. I've tried to follow you're example with the beetroot juice but I can't stomach the stuff

Yeh I can't stand the taste of beet juice but it works wonders for me.

YES, Extremely interesting. Im looking for such an experiment, in a controlled environment, Without Niacin and Gear. Then with just Niacin, and last with Niacin and certain gear.
This is a good starting point.
I get bloods done tomorrow as it happens so results should be back Wednesday.

I'll check exactly how long when I get home mate it's all written down.....roughly 4-5 weeks I think
I did start on certain compounds but just switched to test only
