Anti Inflammatory Cream
I've being doing some research, and I think since being furloughed from my sports industry job, the extra workouts in the home gym might have led to some overwork leading to impingement or bursitis/tendonitis in one of my shoulders.
At first I thought it was a joint issue, so I stepped up the glucosamine and fish oil.
After some research I found an impingement therapy routine I'm going to start doing before each workout.
I've started taking 400mg of Ibuprofen to help with inflammation as well.
So, getting to my question I heard topical anti-inflammations can help as well.
Having all this excess time since being furloughed, stopping lifting for a rest period is not something I want to do since my days revolve around my workouts.
I was a pitcher in college about a decade ago, so I had plenty of experience with icy hot, and I've only been finding articles from 5 years ago or more.
Is there any more currently released creams that anyone is using now I should look in to?
Thanks
Edit-
Just want to mention I am US Based, is volt/D cream something I might be able to find online w/o script?
-And for an update I did the therapy preworkout, 5 workouts/ 3 sets each and seemed to get shoulders back to like 90%. It was leg day, but I usually finish every workout with abs and 100pushups( usually takes 2-4 sets to get there). I did another set of all 5 therapy workouts before pushing and had minimal pain until the 4th set. So, I think I can get back in it moving forward.

Try cream infused with CBD, getting lots of rave reviews from those in pain.
Manateeswimmer5678Also, a tear would place you in excruciating pain. With your past history as a pitcher I would lean towards cuff issues. YouTube has a bunch of cool cuff workouts with bands. Also how is your estrogen level? Low levels could cause pain and joint discomfort
AnonI've crashed my E a couple times and the first side for me is cracking joints.
I was researching and thinking this could be an issue too because my knuckles and everything were cracking. I was on Test E 500mg and Dbol 30mg. I always have aromasin on hand but don't take it on a set schedule. I usually wait until I notice nip sensitivity or some acne, so I'll take 25mg every 3-5 days. The thing is the 2 weeks I started having issues I only took the aromasin once so E should have been high. I kind of think from the pumps I was getting the Dbol may have been 50mg tabs instead of 10mg tabs, but I'm not sure how much that would affect joints.
AnonYou SHOULD have a set schedule for when you take your gear and AI. And that schedule based on the dosages, half lives, and how you respond to what you are taking. Do yourself a favor brother, keep a schedule and notes on cycle and save them to look back on for future cycles. A cheap notebook and a pin is all you need. Write down the date each day and what you took, how much, and other details.
I take a preemptive approach to combating high E. Because I know from past experience that I will get high E sides if I don't use an AI on cycle. I have detailed past cycle notes and know how I am gonna respond to many things. Why let myself get high E sides before starting an AI if I don't have to? I don't, I don't wait until I have high E sides before starting an AI. I run a low dose AI and change the dosage if needed. That is what works for me but not everyone is gonna agree with how I do things.
AnonThe last time I had a shoulder issue like you've describe I got an MRI. The results showed a small tear of the supraspinatus tendon (rotator cuff). My orthopedic sports medicine doc used ultrasound to guide a big cortisone injection into my shoulder. Then he sent me home with instructions on what not to do, to rest it, ice it daily, and take OTC Aleve (naproxen) daily. He also gave me a resistance band and a sheet of home physical therapy exercises to do...I think starting 2 weeks after seeing him.
I used a few 5mg vials of BPC-157 on that shoulder at 250mcg x2 a day too.
I made a full recovery, which was great cause surgery would have been a bigger setback.
Take shoulder injuries serious and don't make it worse.
Manateeswimmer5678Was about to literally post the same thing. Are you benching with flared elbows? Does it hurt to abduct, externally rotate or internally rotate your elbows?
If it does it's most likely a rotator cuff tear.
Rotator cuff has four muscles that build it's foundation as a stabilizer
Supraspinatus-Abduction
Infraspinatus-external rotation
Teres Minor-external rotation
Subscapularis-internal rotation
Anytime someone locks out or flares elbows it will displace the force directly into either the joints or the stabilizer buscles hence why people get tears or joint pain. Try tucking elbows almost like a close grip. That will save your shoulders for the future.
TronCBD cream works very well. Actually the tincture is the best. A greasy oil that a few drops rubbed in your palms then applied to area works better for me than any cream on the market...
Diclofenac 2% cream, prescription free and helps very good + no stomach issues!
I use it 2-3x daily and probs / pain are gone within a few days!
xWardiPhoenixSalonpas works great, its a patch and works wonders for me personally. The old fashioned Bengay works well too. Try them till you find what works for you and which you prefer.
Have a look at penssaid (diclofenac)cream. expensive but works amazing for some reason for me. the regimen I use is Hot water rub at the area for 15 minhtes, wipe it dry and apply the cream. Please have a try if you have access on this. You wont be dissapointed
