Test E first cycle- 33yr old

ad

Hi all

I'd appreciate your advice on the first test e cycle.

Planning on doing 500mg/week for 12 weeks, with clomid and nolva for PCT and aromasin eod (a thought of gyno terrifies me!)

I want to make sure I've got everything covered before I start, hence few questions:
- HCG- do I need it? A lot of people recently talk about it as a must, but is it really? Would proviron do a similar job?
- I occasionally travel abroad with work, normally for a week or so,on which occasions I won't be able to administer the test for a week (miss 2 doses); should I increase the cycle for the duration of the missed week or should I include it in the overall length?
- doses - I'd appreciate your input on the dosage of PCT after the cycle, as this seem to vary from person to person.
- anything else you'd recommend?

Cheers
E.

Im 43yrs old 215lbs running pretty much the same thing you are... im12 weeks in I decided to run it out to 16 weeks because it was week 7 or 8 when I could really feel it coming on good and now at week 12 gains are good so i want to maximise it Test E is a pretty long ester that was to be expected .. I ran bloods pre and at 7 weeks im running AI at .5 eod and my 7 weeks bloods came back good on estradol levels and I started at around 19-20%bf down around 15-16% now ..I recommend hcg I run it at 500iu week at 250/250c split and everything feels good to go with me and my 7 week bloods all look great .....4 weeks of nova/clomid pretty standard pct ... good luck bro

Seems to be working out well for you which is great. I'm interested here. Would you share your pre-cycle blood work as well as your 7 weeks bloods? Would be interested to see what your pre-cycle test levels where like as well as your current markers such as lipids, hematocrit/RBC and renal function. 16 weeks is a long time for a first cycle.

You need to get your BF down first before running this cycle. It's too high at 22% and you rub the risk of having unwanted sides and not getting the desired results. So let's first address your diet and training to get your BF down while maintaining muscle mass. Won't matter if your body weight comes down a bit so long as your maintaining muscle. This is definitely possible without aas. Let me know if you want to chat through some options to do this. Otherwise hit up the diet forum and chat to the folk there.

I am on the last week of this cycle. It's effective.

You're going to get good feedback here & guidance from the blokes below. A big part of what you're going to hear is Diet & Nutrition. BF at 22% means you're doing something wrong.

hCG appears to be a debatable topic of whether to utilize on cycle or PCT, seems to be a preferential debate. Most here will probably tell you it's unnecessary for your 1st cycle.

Proviron will not do the "similar job" as hCG. Provi is an AAS and will function to increase free-test. It will not carry an anti-estrogenic effect near the level of power of an AI but it will be notable. hCG is a polypeptide hormone. It has the ability to mimic LH, which assists in promoting natural test production from the testes (layman's terms = it'll keep your balls full during cycle or will assist in revving up natural production in PCT).

If you search, you'll find numerous beginner cycles... and the PCT is essentially very similar in nature.

Gyno concerns will be kept in check with proper dosing of AI. As mentioned by others, best practice is get bloods for Estradiol (E2) and Total Test & Free Test.

Your travel issue is going to be tricky brother, because then you're playing with hormone levels. The point of the cycle is to maintain consistent levels; ups/downs (highs/lows) could create an issue. Hopefully, someone with more experience than I can provide you with a solution.

Hi all

Thanks for all your replies.
Bigmurf- I'll check those sections up and get back with questions.

As for more info.
My body fat is around 22%
Diet has always been fairly clean, recently switched to paleo which makes it even cleaner than before.
I do like an occasional pint or 6 though so it may be what kept my fat from going down while training(off the booze now tho)

I've been in and out the gym for the last 15years, with last 3 fairly regularly 3 times a week. My sessions vary from deadlift dedicated sessions to full body workouts. I run about 20-30 miles a week and do rugger twice a week plus match days.
What I want is to maintain weight while losing fat so my overall weight doesn't go down - I need it for rugby. So more muscle, less dead weight to carry.

I've got all gear pharma grade at hand and ready, with exception of hcg, as this is something I wasn't sure about.

RE bloodwork - which tests should I request? Testosterone, free Test etc?

Cheers
E.

Could not agree more with fusebox, blood work is a must. My pre cycle bloods showed an estrogen and mild liver issue that is making me adjust my cycle. Also blood work will let you know if AI is dosed correctly. Don't skip this!

First things first. Pre cycle bloods are a must. Secondly if you're running anything you must have everything on hand before starting. Syringes swabs ai pct meds. Thirdly only use pharma pct meds, dont risk your recovery on ugl or research chems. Keep a log of everything you do, food/water intake pin days ais workouts and sleep. All that is left is eating and lifting. As for cycle advice that's all you get from me.

Dacky's picture

That's nice of you to say about me fella. I'll return the compliment :-).

Dacky's picture

More details please fella. What's your BF? What is the goal of the cycle? How will you structure your diet and training to achieve this? Have you run pre-cycle bloods to establish your baseline? The answers you're looking for are available but first I would like to know more.

Before we get into cycle advice can you please update your stats to include bodyfat and provide some information on your training history and diet and tell us a bit about your goals for this cycle.
