Short and Long ester

ad

I am planning my next run and was thinking about running NPP and test C. I have read most people don't mix short and long esters. I was considering running the NPP for the first 8 weeks while running the test c. What do you all think.

Sorry for the poor post, I hope I was able to ease your concerns about my history and stats.

If these stats are up to date I don't think a cycle is the way forward.

Height: 5'9"

My best recommendation right now would be to cut down to at least 10% BF naturallly and then do a natural bulk to put on some quality muscle before you consider cycling. Taking your bodyfat down to that level or even lower will "supercharge" the nutrient partitioning effects and put the muscle on much faster than fat when you are bulking with at least a 1000+ cal surplus. You should be able to get 4-5 weeks bulking in until you bulk up to 12-13% and then do a mini cut back down to 10%. Cyclic bulking like that will reset your insulin sensitivity for one, so when you bulk again you should be gaining primarily muscle. Keep bulking and min-cutting until you have some good mass on you naturally and then consider cycle.

What do you recommend to achieve the cut in bf. I have read so many varying opinions on the subject I don't know what to believe any more. Dieting is my achilles heel, I eat sensibly and don't indulge in sweets. Every now and then my son and I get some ice cream together.

For starters, how much cardio are you doing right now?

win3200's picture

15-20 min hiit 3 days a week.

more fat = more estrogen for a start. plus steroids work better with lower bf.

This is going to be my second run, my goal is lean muscle gain,

This is going to be my second cycle

Curious on cycling history also and what is your goal for this cycle. There is one glaring problem I see but I'll wait to comment until we get some more info.

Cyp for 8 weeks might be a bit short plus the npp will kick in fast and shut you down before the test has a chance to really take effect.

I would run npp with test prop if it was me. Alternatively run deca and Cyp over a longer cycle. You could front load the Cyp and run it with npp I guess and run it for 8 weeks.

I was running the cyp for the full 12-14 weeks. The answer you gave me I found afterwards, so thank you for the information. I was curious as to why it was a bad idea, I couldn't find a definitive reason for it.
