piggybacking orals
ad
Question: provided that proper liver protection (TUDCA, Milk Thistle, NAC) is in place and one has properly pre-loaded said protection 2 weeks prior to starting orals, and continues them 2 weeks after cessation of orals...
wise or unwise to run 8 weeks of var @ 50, followed by 4 weeks of winny @ 50. (Forgot to clarify that this would hypotethically start week 4 of test)
? My thoughts are that it would be fine, but i also really enjoy my liver function.

Just taking a different oral is like just drinking a different kind of alcohol when it comes to your liver. If 12 weeks of var sounds like a long time then 8 weeks of var and 4 weeks of winny is just as bad. Just run var shorter and have a gap in between
Alphamale500I don't think piggybacking orals would be a good idea if you're looking to avoid unnecessary damage or stress put on your liver. It's common knowledge that oral compounds should be used for a maximum of 4 to 6 wks. Now that can maybe be stretched to 8 wks tops if it were a very experienced user using a low toxicity compound, and I really wouldn't even recommend that. But 12wks is too fuckn long!
With the scenario of yours above, you would be putting 12wks of constant undue stress on your liver, which can very well cause serious damage. You can even develop a fatty liver which many ppl don't even take into account! Just because you're switching to a different oral for the additional 4 wks, doesn't mean anything! The danger isn't just from using the same oral compound for such a long period. But rather from the stress that you're putting on your liver by extended use of high toxicity oral compounds.
And even if you're using all the various liver health supplements, I really don't think they're gonna prevent damage to your liver by foolish choices such as piggybacking toxic oral compounds. No, it's not wise, that's my opinion.
You should really read up on fatty liver, (NAFLD) Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, (NASH) Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, etc. Oh, can't forget about the final stages which many of these ppl develop like cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer.
Manateeswimmer5678I don't think that's a good idea man, 8 weeks of var is already pretty long and winny is super harsh on the liver and lipids . Why not save the winny for end of run? That way you can continue to lean out from the testosterone and also give your liver a break.
RustyhookerSo risking health to cut more because eating proper is too hard? Ya.....yolo....
Dont foget he is tooo LAZY to do cardio
RustyhookerYup yup! Folks now dont even know the d8fference between aerobic and anaerobic cardio.
Best to use orals cautiously. I wouldn't do it. That's just me.
Alphamale500Agreed!
This is equivalent of someone asking when they’re 18 when they might get lung cancer from smoking cigarettes. Then asking how many they can smoke a day and when the cancer will kick in.
I don’t agree with anyone giving advice on timelines based upon milligram amount. I have a friend that will have elevated liver values after less than two weeks and another friend that can run things for three months without any problems. Point being is that everyone’s different and none of us can make this guess. Guessing when somethings may or may not kill you is stupid and lazy.
Go get your blood work done and tell us how you’re looking now. Then jump on for maybe three or four weeks and have your blood work done again. Make adjustments from there. Even a doctor can’t make guesses based upon a mg amount PRIOR to blood work. Everyone’s body is different.
Get your bloodwork done at week 4 and 8 then go from there. Common experience says you have messed up cholesterol and liver won’t be functioning right, but every human is different so it’d be just somebody guessing without labs
Havent actually started, so thats what my concern was. Just wanted input from more experienced guys. Most say 6-8 weeks max and i wouldnt wanna mess up my cholesterol that bad. Bloods will be important in about a week as i start, and then 4 weeks later. Thank you for the advice. Ill leave the win out.
Unwise. That’s 12 weeks of oral use. Even mild orals like var or tbol I say 8 weeks max. Btw your cholesterol would be wrecked by the end of that.
Totally agreed! Harsh orals max 6 weeks, mild orals max 8 weeks. Also I'd recommend bloodwork at week 4 to check your liver and cholesterol...
See above post. Plan was bloods at 4 weeks in to oral and the day after cessation and then end of cycle.
That’s a smart plan. I just had my blood work done about four weeks ago before I jumped on cycle. I know from past experience that my liver, kidney and blood pressure are good to go the first six weeks so I’m waiting six weeks to have my blood work done. Now if I was using a new oral or a higher dosage I would get tested sooner. Trial and error.
