Kidney Issues
ad
Was 20 weeks cruising on test e 250 and deca 200 a week. Cycled off with pct then had blood work done. Everything to do with kidneys was above normal. I've done several cycles and never experienced this. I would post results but haven't mastered this eroid thing yet. Any suggestions? Everything else was fine btw.

What did you get done? Creatinine (either serum or 24h or calculated 24h) and BUN can be falsely high due to high protein diet, creatine supps and AAS. I suggest you get cystatin C done. This parameter is a little more expensive to run, but shouldn´t be influenced much by whatever you do. It is a much better parameter for evaluating GFR
Manateeswimmer5678We're going to need to know the meds you're taking, it gonna be pre renal azotemia, post renal azotemia or a direct issue within the kidneys ie. Membranous nephropathy, PSGN, etc. There are just too many variables involved. How is your BUN to creatinine ratio as well as your Fractional sodium excreted percentage and urine osmolarity? We can narrow down the problem with those values as well.
This should be discussed wit ha Doc. Also, there are some decent kidney flushes out there. You could try that, but if it doesn't help go to a Doc.
Be careful bro. "above normal", until you become symptomatic for kidney failure. Know what youre doing to youre body and how you can permanently damage your body including irreversible LVH.
This study is looking at kidney biopsies of bodybuilders.
"In summary, we present the first series of FSGS in bodybuilders who abused AASs. These patients may present with either asymptomatic proteinuria or full nephrotic syndrome and heterogeneous histologic variants of FSGS. Although these patients responded well to discontinuation of AAS use, weight loss, and RAS blockade, others may progress to ESRD. Elevated lean body mass and long-term AAS abuse should be added to the list of causes of secondary FSGS."

Learn about focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. One of these patients went on to ESDR or total renal failure requiring a kidney transplant.
You need to think harder about what you're doing and how you're doing it.
By chance are you on Fenafybrate for cholesterol?
What’s your egfr?
you were on for 5 months, then stopped, PCT'd and got bloods. Of course the kidney panel would be above normal, you just put them through hell for 20 weeks. IT should return to normal the longer you are off, but thats just a theory. I am not a doctor, if you are really concerned, see one. Goodluck
I agree. A lot of problems come from being on cycle to long.
Molinin302How's your BP history? Any family history of renal issues? OTC anti inflamitories? Need a little more to go on...
