help with cycle
Hey guys. This is my first post.
I've never been able to add strength or size with any amount of lifting or dieting. I lifted for about 6 months and could barely do a 65lb bench. It's embarrassing.
Anyway, I had some blood work done out of curiosity and my test came back as 292 which my doctor says is normal and won't prescribe me any test.
I've decided to take things in my own hands.
I'm 24, 6'2", 200lbs and around 20% bf
I want to do a 12 or 16 week cycle.
Are test e and nolva all I need?
I keep reading that 500mg of test e a week is good to start.
Some guys I know that are on gear said I should start with 7-800mg.
Based on my stats, can anyone help personalize a cycle to my situation or provide some guidance if you have been in a similar situation?
Thanks guys.

are you wanting to cycle, for strength? image? sport etc etc what is your goal bro
I'm wanting to cycle for strength and aesthetics. But another main reason is just to feel good by having adequate test.
I always figured if I can get to a lean 180-200lbs and get my bench up to my bodyweight I would be pretty satisfied.
I sent you a friend request, message me
I really appreciate all of the feedback guys! I went to my family doctor first for a consultation and was referred to an endo for bloodwork. His (endo) excuse was that I am too young to begin TRT since I am within their lab limits. He said I should just focus on natural methods of improving test.
I'm not on any meds so nothing should be lowering my test. I take zinc and dhea to try and help right now. My diet is mostly chicken grilled in olive oil, grilled tilapia with no seasoning and various greens. Sometimes I eat sweet potatoes. Pumpernickel and turkey sandwiches. Brown rice. That's about it. Pretty boring, but it shouldn't be bad?
Newchapter I have almost no chest for what it's worth.
Ok so you squat 360 and shoulder press 135.... That's not superman by all means but I'd say you are fairly strong. Only maxing 95 on a bench press says to me the you're not lifting correctly. Also to say no matter how well you eat and no matter how much you workout says to me that there's a very good chance that you are not eating or working out properly. You may think you are and us being creatures of habit. If we practice a lot and follow certain methods religiously, if they're the wrong ones then we're only reinforcing bad habits. Without a doubt you should be able to break that plain of 95 pounds. Your proportion are way out of whack. Let's say you are squatting 360 then you should be benching at least your body weight and a shoulder press (free weights and not a smith type machine) of 135. You should easily be benching 225 to 250. So the best advice I can give you at the moment is to really do some research on proper diet and training. Form is key coupled with proportion. Put the juice on the back burner for now until you get the basics straightened out. To address the low t is another story. You need to have proper bloods done so you know your and free testosterone levels. It's also just as important to know you estrogen levels. Just one question on that..... Are you taking pain meds? They will kill your testosterone! At 24 you should still have a much higher t level than you've described so go see a different endo and don't forget to ask him to check your estrogen levels too..... Good luck I hope you find the missing pieces to you problem but I can tell you that juice is not one of them!
I appreciate your advice, bro. If I dose normal levels (75-125mg) should I still take an estrogen blocker, though?
And is it okay to do this with clen to assist in leaning in the meanwhile?
I've already considered trying a different endo. There are only 3 anywhere near here, so that leaves 2 that may be willing to help me. Not sure if insurance will keep paying for bloodwork since the last result says I'm normal, though.
Yeah no Clen! Too dangerous.... Strict dieting should get you to where you want to be. I cut 38lbs in 6-7 months.
no clen.
Bro, YES, YES, YES to the estrogen blocker (properly - AI or aromatase inhibitor). I built up an enormous amount of estrogen on low level Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT or HRT) and many of my friends did as well and the prescribing doctors don't check. So, the man starts testosterone replacement and feels great and then 6 months later begins to feel like shit and nobody knows what's wrong. Meanwhile his estrogen level is way out of range - completely unnecessary. You need regular blood work and you need to monitor the estrogen level - on the blood test it will be called E2 or Estradiol.
I don't think you need Clen, bro. My opinion. Clen is serious enough of a chemical that if u can avoid experimenting with it, my recommendation is not to use it.
Are you in the US? If you are, there is a link on this website to having private labs done.

Also, you don't have to have an endo to to TRT either, a family doctor can do it. I have never heard of a story of an endo not prescribing testosterone for someone as low as you are. Are you sure you're not forgetting some details here? It just doesn't make sense to me.
I can't justify in my mind any recommendation except to put you on a TRT dose of Testosterone that would be about 125 mg / wk. and see where your blood levels end up. But, bro, from the heart, your endo is a quack and you need to find a doctor with some common sense. You have an endocrine problem that needs to be treated medically - I feel so strongly that all of that needs to happen first. I just don't see the administration of anabolics as a proper protocol for a man with your health problem. I also am sympathetic to your desperation as well.
Those of you saying it's off; here's more specifics. I'm no stronger than I was at 110lbs in middle school. I took weight training in high school and now I train with guys who know much about what they are doing.
Curl 60lbs
Bench 95 max on bar, 180 max on machine. I cannot work out with those weights. 65/135 for 8-10 reps.
Squat 360
Shoulder press 135
I've literally made zero progress my entire life. I attribute this to low test, as I'm assuming it has always been low. My dad also has low test but he is mid 40s, so it is possibly genetic.
My endo will absolutely not prescribe me any test for TRT because of ny age. I was also within the limits. Their test scale was from 290-1172. I am at 292.
And honestly I shouldn't be 200lbs. I used to be around 160 up until a year ago. I have a general shape of someone who lifts and people ask me all of the timeif I do. I gain no strength is my problem.
The doctor would prescribe AAS for TRT anyway, if he felt there was a problem. This is why I want to approach it on my own.
When you have no energy, no libido, no gains, and no help from family doctor or endo, you just gotta take things into your own hands.
I dont want to fuck up though, so I read and read and finally decided to ask for advice given my personal situation.
My younger brother had the same problem in his twenties. He was strong but just couldn't bench. He had difficulty controlling the weight and spent his energy thinking about it too much. If you can press 135, you can bench 200+. Try some incline presses and dumbell benches and other chest exercises for awhile. I don't really see a problem here.
I spotted my bro until he got it right. Don't think about it. Just up and down bro. Wach your form and get a spot. Those controlling musckes will get used to it. My bro is 46 now. 200lbs and still benches over 300. I hate him...
im sorry but something is very off about this entire post. 65lb bench at 200lb and 6'2" ? u lost me there. please chime in. i dont like writing off people right away and would like a chance to talk a little more. giving you the benefit of the doubt
FoolMeOnceIll simlify this for u. If ur struggling to hit 65lbs at 24 years old on bench then u have months of research before even starting gear. I reccomend looking up matt ogus on youtube. Study the shit out of his trainig and diet regimin. Implement that and after another 8-24 months of seeing results then come back.
Hi bro,
In the strongest possible terms - if you are at a point in your training as a 200 lb, 24 yr. old young man that can't bench 65 lbs. (I assume those are dumbbells) - so you can't bench 135 - please you must make some progress with your training before relying on chemicals for a miracle. However, a T-level of 292 if it's in ng / dL for a 24 yr. old is low (is it in the big fat normal range, maybe yes - but you're not going to build any muscle tissue with that.)
So, bottom line. Before even starting doing anything with AAS - I recommend you see a specialist about your low T-problem, that you get on a protocol to take care of that first, that second, you get into the gym once that's fixed and train to establish a "normal" strength level for a young man and lastly, that you start thinking about AAS.
Very kind regards,
GearHead
The general consensus here will be that you need to get the bf down before starting gear. It sounds like you are doing things right tho and doing your research. You will also need clomid and nolvadex for your pct. Make sure to have everything in hand before starting.
You should post up your current diet and training program. Amounts and measurements are key in the diet. You dont need more than 500mg per week on your first run.
