Gains stop after 8 weeks

ad

This is apparently a proven fact, from clinical studies, after week 8 gains slow to almost a halt

Is this accurate from your experience ?

If so why are we doing 12 weeks when all the gains come in the first 8 weeks only to have 4 weeks of next to no gains and making ourselves much worse shut down ?

Would a potential benefit from staying on after 8 weeks be fat loss ? Would your body burn fat much more effectively even though its not building muscle at a fast rate ?

8wks huh?

Not when you front load your test and finish the last few weeks with some oral tren. Simple and effective.

In short, if you have your diet in check and stack your compounds correctly, you won't hit a halt.

Dont know if you have heard of Mike Mentzer but he kind of addressed the whole 8 weeks thing. Here is a previous post someone made that mentions it and mentions what he did about it with his clients. Check it out and see what you think.

"However, by the mid 1990s Mike began to see a disturbing pattern. Almost all of his clients made excellent and balanced progress in strength and muscle size for about the first eight weeks of training under his direction. However, after this initial period of good and balanced progress, many clients reported that their upper-body gains had slowed down, even halted, while their legs continued to grow stronger and get bigger".

By the way Im not saying his theory is or isnt correct, just giving you a different perspective.

cycles are almost always designed for 8 weeks of on time, short esters often 8 week cycles, long esters kick in 4 weeks so they run them 12 weeks, EQ kicks around 8 weeks in and it is ran for 16 weeks, very common for 8 weeks of on time. advanced users know how to make the on time last longer through diet and mixing of compounds and training....im not saying your info is right or wrong, but it is often the principle cycles follow.

Gains don't stop brotha...by eight weeks in you should have significantly increased your lbm, enough that your base caloric need has gone up. What happens with a lot of people that I see here is thy dont increase their calories to meet the new demand which results in diminishing gains or stopping all together. I am not aware of any clinical studies so please post a link to whatever you have found. I know tht for me personally, I continue to make gains while I am cruising by just adjusting my macros

very well said, i always try explaining this to the few guys ive cycled with, but of course they feel like they need to add other compounds to keep gaining and dont want to put the kitchen work in. you can only grow so much on x amnt of macros, and to continue that growth its obvious the macro intake has to continue rising! i dont know why ppl seem to have such a hard time undrstndng this, at least the ppl i know that have cycled with me. needless to say, i no longer help them get or run gear - they refuse to listen and dont want to put the work in, and im not/cant do it for them
