First cycle...thoughts?
So I'm planning to start my first cycle hopefully within the next month or so. I've been researching for months now and wanted some feedback on my plan so here it goes. Im planning to run a 10 week cycle of test e at 500mg/week which will be splot into two 250mg injections(to keep levels more stable). During the cycle I will run 0.25mg arimidex every other day. My pct will be 2 weeks after last injection, will also taper of the adex during this time. I will do a 4 week pct with nolvadex 40/40/20/20 and clomid 100/100/50/50. So as far as a basic test only cycle I think I have all my bases covered. I'm considering front loading the test e (which I know isn't really recommended for a first cycle) since my first cycle will be the most effective. The front loading calculation kind of confuses me (it seems I'm not the only one) but from what I have seen I believe I would need to run 1000mg my first week which I would split up into 4 injections. Thoughts on cycle? Any help with the front loading would be appreciated.

Yeah, I definitely plan to cut down my body fat. That's another reason I won't cycle for about a month or so
Stats: 26 6' 210lbs probably around 18% bf. I've been training about 8 years, but have been lacking a lot the past 2 years due to medical issues. I'm just getting back into the swing of things and getting my diet back on track. I'm also trying to cut some weight before I jump on the cycle, just trying to get my ducks in a row
There is an important reason why you want your BF as low as possible before you start your cycle. You will make greater gains.

Your bf wasn't on your profile but yeah good that you plan on cutting it first.
Add your stats please. I've looked at your profile so i can see your age correct.
Looks like you did actually do some research, cycle looks okay to me, I'd go 12 weeks but it's splitting hairs really. Most people say their strength gains seem to level off around the 8 week point, they fail to add calories as the cycle progress tho so bare this in mind.
I was originally planning for 12 weeks but if I end up front loading I will cut it back to 10. Since my levels will be up from the start, I should be able to run a shorter cycle with the same effects
For your first cycle, I would recommend you skip any frontloads, kickers etc and just stick with a cookie cutter 12 week test cycle. You don't know how you are going to react to exogenous test. You could be so sick from test flu that you won't even be able to move. You wouldn't want to be frontloading if that is the case. Or you could have crippling pip. Keep it simple for a reason until you see how you react to the test.
That's a great point. I was really more focused on the gyno sides, which I have covered, so thanks for the reminder on the test flu. It's definitely better for me to test the waters before going all out. I was thinking more about getting the most out of my first cycle than about my body not being able to handle the test. Regular 12 weeks it is.
Excellent advice +3
This should be made law for 1st cycles.
I felt the test e hard right at two weeks after I started my FIRST cycle. Now it's more like the usual 4 that you read about but having never used gear before it came on hard and fast my first time. Have you considered using test prop for the first week or two instead of a big front load of a long ester? Maybe 100 mg of prop eod for the first week and 50 mg eod week two? Or since it's your first cycle just 50 mg eod for the first two weeks. That will allow you to keep your levels much more stable and allow you to bail much quicker if for some reason the test doesn't sit well with your body. Not that your plan looks bad, I'm just throwing some different ideas out there.
I thought about test prop but I didn't really want to stack anything on my first cycle, which is why I was thinking about front loading. I'll just stick with a basic 12 weeks cycle and see how it goes.
