Cramps-spasm

ad

Current cycle is Test Cyp only at 500mg a week.

Protein is adequate, hydration is on point. Taking magnesium and potassium supps along with multivitamins. Question is since beginning this cycle, I have been having cramps in the pectoral and deltoid regions and at times in the bicep muscle. I have used test many times at this dose and have had the same happen in the past. What gives? Anyone else experience this? What works to relieve it? Its not extremely painful, mainly just an annoying pulling muscle-cramp type of feel. It actually looks quite weird because you can see the muscle rippling when it happens.

It typically happens when I go to stretch or any sudden movement from a sitting still relaxed position.

I did the same thing as you my tricep started twitching violently and it moved into the bicep same arm. I started taking potassium supps and my water intake was over 3 liters a day. I was cutting so I cut Alot of salt out of my diet when I started all the water I was drinking mixed with sweating my ass of in the gym pushed all the salt out of my body I upped the salt and within the first day the twitching subsided and things returned to normal try something with some salt nut seeds or simply what was mentioned below salt water you'll feel great

This ^^^^^

You need salt bro. People always associate cramping with potassium and magnesium deficiency and forget about sodium. You can drink enough water and sweat enough to flush out the sodium in your body. I have had this happen and the cramping was unbelievable. Take a tablespoon of salt in 8 oz. water - mix and drink and see how your feel in 15 minutes.

Or add a side of steak fries salted with pink Himalayan to one of your meals... Full disclosure: I don't have a deep fryer and have been craving some steak fries for two weeks now.

One thing that always amazes me is how much we focus on the macros and the big ticket items, and little things like minerals get overlooked but are so critical to building muscle. There's a lot we assume on these forums are understood, and I guess sometimes these things just get taken for granted.

Bingo .... salt isnt this devil everyone makes it out to be. Sodium levels getting too low can turn out to be quite dangerous.

As for the cramps, the most effective thing I've used is Taurine.
