Anavar/Test E - First Cycle Questions

ad

First ever cycle looks like this:

6 weeks of 50mg var (25mg AM, 25mg PM)
300mg Test E per week beginning at end of week 2
PCT Nolva

I'm 26, 5'11", 160lbs and around 7% bf. With proper diet and training, I hope to gain maybe 6-7lbs of quality muscle. I have two questions:

1) What is the likelihood of significant sides on cycle?
2) Assuming I'm smart about my PCT and I keep my diet/training on point, should I expect to keep most of my gains?

Thanks guys!

Hey guys, so I am five days into my cycle and I have decided that it isn't for me and I wish to stop immediately. You were all right, and this is your chance to say I told you so! To date, I have taken 50mg anavar for five days and one test e injection yesterday. My question is whether I should bother with a PCT at all?

good for you bro, takes balls to make hard/good decisions. Concentrate on the diet and training hard and you'll make great gains going forward.

ust curious as to what made you not want to?

BTW I appreciate the help dude. I'm looking forward to putting this behind me haha!

Not a full on though I presume? Maybe like 20mg Nolva for a week and then 10mg for a few days after that?

These vets really will give you some great advice man but we all know when we have our mind set on doing something were going to do it and im sure a lot of these guys are guilty of jumping the gun and doing a cycle. do take there advice though. what i dont understand is your whole 300mg of test at end of week 2? are you planning on doing a 6 week cycle?

Brother seriously the guys below are being honest.. you MUST nail the pro/carb intake by grammage to body weight.. i can assure you if you pin 10ml of juice ED and do not have your nutritional needs spot on your body will not budge and then maybe we get into the bunk gear scenario ???? i have trained hard gainers for more years than you have been on the planet and as soon as we nail the diets BOOOOOOM growth occurs and then i get some happy faces smiling back at me... every problem that may occur regarding groth and gains in the bodybuilding world ALWAYS revolves back to basics... THE DAILY NUTRITIONAL INTAKE....never the high/low dosage of juice... even now after 30+ years of this lifestyle i am constantly checking and upgrading or fine tuning my diet if we dont do this we will all end going backwards unfortunately.

5ft 11 and 160lbs. Until you learn to do what these guys are telling you about eating, you'd be wasting your money running AAS.

  1. Eat more and bulk naturally get a better base.
  2. Test e 500mg per week with ai
  3. Pct nolva clomid 40 40 20 20, 100 100 50 50

boom! there is the plan.

X2 - and I'll add at pretty much 6' 160lbs you should be ashamed at yourself for even considering gear, let alone VAR.!!! You have a freggin eating disorder sting bean. I strongly urge you to consider you lifestyle choices.

ok joking aside, hardgainer or not, you should be able to hit close to 200lbs naturally. Your putting down a gallon of whole milk a day? Coconut oil on everything? grass fed cow butter in copious amounts? quality pastured eggs 6-12 whole a day? Fish, Beef, Bison etc. by the half pound 4-5x a day? Oats, rice, veggies non stop? Your investment should be in quality food not AAS, your keep much more gains and up your test levels naturally eating better. You do more damage to your hormone system taking roids and not eating enough and get little to no lasting results 6 months later. But hey, in 6 months you'll be the guy who used to lift x and weigh x amount so its always great to hear from "that" guy

If I eat like you suggest, sure I'll gain a ton of weight and probably a decent amount of strength. However, a shitload of that weight will just be fat I will have to burn off. Remember, genetics are different for everyone. I'm not planning on going nuts with roids - I just want to see if I can make some modest gains that have so far eluded me.

you wont be fat if you eat good foods thats BS. genetics are a cop out, if you're fat blame it on genetics, if you're skinny blame it on genetics, no. Its about the effort, genetics and body structure determine the dominance of certain body-parts and the shape of them they don't determine your results for weight gain and weight loss only the effort. Eating massive amounts of whole foods and fats will not make you fat period. Eating crap with sugar and foods/meats/ eggs void of nutrients and omega 3's and CLA's will. Having a fear of getting "fat" is another indicator that you should consider holding off AAS bro. AAS compliment discipline and training, do some research on whole foods/grass-fed meats etc. My guess is your not really a hard gainer, you just have an eating disorder based on fear and body image.

Well I've been training very hard naturally for about 4 years. I'm pretty strong for my size:

Bench: 275 x 3
Squat: 345 x 3

I'm a serious hard gainer though and I feel like I'm starting to bump up against my genetic potential. Anyway back to my question though - do you guys think I will be able to keep the gains I make on cycle?

ac89's picture

I'm a hard gainer and I hate bulking because of it. I put down so much food its not even funny. I have to eat eat then eat some more. I feel constantly full and will be in the kitchen a couple hours a day. Try that and see how much weight you put on before the gear.

hulksandwich's picture

Anybody can gain weight - when I say I'm a hard gainer, I mean I have trouble putting on muscle even in a caloric surplus. And before anyone asks, my diet is ALWAYS on point and I am very diligent in the gym. I feel like running a mild cycle is the best way to put on a few pounds of lean mass. I am NOT looking to get huge.

Yeah hamburger helper, lots of pasta and an ice cream smoothie! You can make the smoothie healthy by adding berries to it haha

Eating dirty foods helps cut down on the amount of food you need to consume to put mass on. I was a hard gainer and I ate dirty as hell, I'm talking fast food 3x a week, ice cream daily, pie, along with my normal foods chicken, rice, potatoes, beans, pasta, fish, beef etc

Even then I didnt gain fat, actually I leaned out and could finally see my abs!
