pct help

ad

Hey any help would be greatly appreciated.

So have been researching and reading for sometime now. I am new on here and new to the gear. I am starting my first cycle which I am comfortable doing with the the research and help from a friend. My concern is my PCT which are better, are nova and clomid more than efficient considering my basic cycle? should I be using something else? is adding HCG during cycle recommended?

CYCLE test e 500 a week twice a week m/th

I know everyones body reacts in a different manner so when it come to side effects I know what to look for and make sure I take proper steps to eliminate them.

My background consists of being very active in sports and training up until 3 or 4 yrs ago when had my first son. Lately I workout when I can but thats why I'm here. I miss my frame and strength and ready to commit myself and train hard again. I have a healthy diet don't drink or smoke. bedroom wise never had a problem.

Everyone I talk to or anything I read seems to have different opinions on what I should add to my PCT any help from someone with experience would be great. Thank in advance y'all

Stats
Age: 33
Height: 5'10
Weight: 215
BF: 23%

Well Bigmurph has you below on laying out a proper
PCT for a test only cycle. But given you're at 23% BF I strongly suggest you focus on nutrition (and training) first and get your BF to 15% or below before you run this or any cycle. The truth is you will not get the benefits of running a cycle at that BF and your risks are significantly increased so I do not advise it. This comes from part personal experience (I tried it and it did not work great for me) and from tons of research. I wonder what BF% your friend is at?

Happy to help with some diet suggestions or check out Makwa who has an excellent forum on diet and helped me significantly.

Shoot me a friend request and I'd be happy to help further.

So really you don't advise in me doing a cycle at this point? Even with cardio and proper nutrition I will not see any benefits?

I'll be honest I was hoping no one would say that. I don't want to be discouraged when I start a cycle but I do understand what you are saying.

I will need to research some more maybe.

My buddy had a higher bf than me. Not by much but def had more body fat.

Yes mate I strongly advise against it. Perhaps some of the reasons your buddy struggled to hold onto his "gains" was due to his high BF.

Tell you what - put the effort in now with the right nutrition and training and spend the next 6 months or quicker dropping your BF to sub 15% and then you will be in an excellent position to run a cycle, reap the full benefits and do so with a significantly lowered risk profile. Not only will you have an appropriate body composition to run this cycle but you will have learnt how to apply nutritional and training concepts to manipulate and improve your body composition. This is the hardest part in the end and the most important for achieving long term gains and desirable levels of leanness.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'll be honest I'm not entirely sure I won't try a low test e cycle still. You have giving me a lot to think about and that's why I'm here. I will continue with the research and educate myself some more before anything though.

Well fella you will do what you want to do in the end. At least you will have all the facts. Good luck.

Yeah my buddy has done 2 -12 wks cycle my problem getting advice from him was mainly the fact he seemed to lose a lot of what he gained (lost about 10-15lbs) after his first one which was probably due to poor pct. He is on his 2nd pct now so I'll see if he made any improvements on it to help keep gains this time around.

I plan doing the same 12 week cycle and was going with the 500 a week based on what i was seeing from him during the cycle. Why do you say I should lower it to 300-400 a week? Not that I'm disagreeing I just like knowing why it is a better option.

I didn't post my BF% cause I'm ashamed of the fact its about 23% I've gained a lot of weight since my son came around and I turned 30. its terrible but with hard work and dedication I will get back to where i need to be.

I plan on getting my blood work done before I start and I'll do so also around the time you suggested and after to help control my body.

Thanks for the feedback Bro
