HCG and arm numbness!!

ad

Good day all,

I've researched the forum section and the internet but couldn't find an answer. I would appreciate your help.

I just finished a humble cycle of Test C at 500mg a week, and Deca 400m/ week for 12 weeks. The cycle was a success, I've gained few pounds of muscle and over all, I am happy with the modest result I've achieved. This was my second cycle, my first cycle was Test only for 12 weeks.

Now my question is concerning the PCT. For the above cycle, I did the following, starting 2 weeks after the last pin.

Week hCG Clomid
1 500iu/ed
2 500iu/ed (1st 3 Days) 150mg/ed
3 150mg/ed
4 100mg/ed
5 50mg/ed

I noticed that on the third day of HCG, I started having a tingling feeling in my right hand fingers, it was on and off, by the end of the 10 days, it was pretty much my right hand, on and off, thought the 10 days of HCG ended, the tingling feeling increased, and now it is in my right arm up to the elbow. My fingers and right hand almost tingling all the time none stop, and it goes up to the elbow on occasions!!, I finished my PCT 3 weeks ago, but seems there is no improvement, the tingling and numbness almost there, doesn't matter if I am sitting on my desk at work, doing weights, or even cardio.

Any one experienced something similar?
Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Just found this looking up numbness/tingling in hands while on HCG. I'm experiencing the same issue and have in the past. When I was first put on HCG a few years ago, I retained a shit ton of water and I'd wake up with both hands asleep.

I stopped taking HCG and it went away but my boys did too so I am now back on it. Last week after my first shot, I experienced it but it went away by mid day. I took a shot this past monday and no issues but I woke up this morning and my hands, right now are tingling. I did my 2nd weekly shot after I woke up so it's really bizzare.

It's not a pinched nerve and not all people react the same way. So far, I'm not gaining any water weight but I did add Expel last week and I think that helped. This shit really bothers me and my Dr is clueless.

I'm also on 2iu 5/2 of HGH and I've had no issues with my hands until I added HCG.

giardap's picture

Its one of the most pronounced and most common side effects of hcg
Almost all pep hormones can cause this sort of reaction but with hcg it can be severe
Doses should never start above 250 iu in men and 3x per week to stabilise plasma levels across the week... this also lowers the severity, but if you are prone to it, well... you're prone to it

But there will always be clowns that talk absolute nonsense instead of reading the god damned info pamphlet!!!

aashole's picture

So I stopped taking the HCG for two weeks and still had numb hands. Definitely the HGH I'm taking! Smile

First time on GH so I immediately blamed the HCG since it happened before due to sever edema. So far, I'm not blowing up like a balloon but am retaining some water from both GH and HCG.

PS... I read the info pamphlet.

Haha good man.
Did you notice extreme numb hands/arms is a possible side?

Good you nailed it to the gh... maybe taper it down, find a sweet spot?

I find all those peptides do this, or at least the ones i have tried now. I just started follistatin and it's more of the same. ... to different extents... arms or fingers or forearms or feet and so on

ashop's picture

Its a very common side effect with HGH called CTS (CARPEL TUNNEL SYNDROME)

Not read the medicine's insert in the pack, no?

First things first, in all likelihood the HCG has nothing to do with the numbness in the hands. Most likely occurring due to a nerve impingement or inflammation in the neck or shoulder resulting in finger numbness.

Second you PCT plan as stated is absolutely horrendous. I would research much much more proper potential PCT protocols prior to even considering running an additional cycle. Also you also need to research individual potential PCT compounds and their functions. Likewise & especially HCG , mainly its potential pitfalls being including as a PCT product. Closing, you need to hit the books in the PCT department.

Also, I would recommend seeking professional assistance if the numbness continues.

Thank you Dr.BroScience for your explanation and detailed reply.
My bad I didn't list my exact PCT, as I was concerned only about the HCG because my symptoms only appeared while I am on it. I updated my post with the proper PCT I've done.

Also thank you for letting me know that HCG has nothing to do with the numbness, this info was exactly what I am looking for.
Appreciate your help and guidance.

Are you fkn serious man?????
Read the fricken information leaflet on your medication!!!!

Go to a doctor.

It is a standard PCT! Not sure what is the problem?

Drago's picture

That’s not a standard pct. More research on here is needed. I wouldn’t use Hcg everyday either.

RangerVet's picture

Ghoul you need a lot more than 10 days of Clomid. No joking

Cummin apart's picture

Yeah I know right!!! A quick search will tell you way more than that!! Lol

Ghoul's picture

Com on guys Smile
When I said 10 days of HCG, and Clomid. I didn't mean I used Clomid for 10 days .. I meant the HCG, which I was talking strictly about because the numbness started while I am on it only. I was concerned that my symptoms would be related exclusively to HCG, which you all greatly helped me to understand that it is not related to it, and pointed me to the right direction.

I think it was my bad I wasn't clear enough. I updated the post to include the exact details of the PCT. I thank you all for your feedback and help. This what makes this community a great place.

Are your right fingers swollen compared to left?

Bill G's picture

Id agree with ranger . I get simular problems and find its a pinched nerve between my shoulders. Had one doc tell me I had carpal tunnel. Wanted to do the surgery . I said no. Went to the chiropractor. 3 visits and fixed. Comes around every once and a while. Have to watch how I pull on things .

Ghoul's picture

Hi Bill,
How long did you wait before going to the Chiro?
I think if this condition remained for another week or so I will have go get it checked.

Bill G's picture

I have been Pro chiropractor for most of my life when I started experiencing that was after I had fallen in a tree and broken three ribs and really jacked my back up but I did kind of hope that it would just go away so I put up with it for a couple of months. It got really bad and also experiencing a lot of pain in my thumbs finally broke down and went and literally three visits and it was better

Ghoul's picture

I am sorry about your injury Bill, hope it is something from the past by now. I will keep the Chrio in mind for sure, and I thank you for your advice.

Bill G's picture

Yeah 18 years ago. Good luck with your condition

Research pinched nerves. My guess as a nurse. You getting heart pain or pain from hands up to shoulder? Are your fingers functioning properly? Strong grip?

Ghoul's picture

Hi RangerVet,
Thanks for your reply. No heart pain, and the pain doesn't reach the shoulder. My fingers are functioning normal, I can type without any problem, I am working out 4-5 days a week, didn't notice any decline in performance, strength or grip power. Just this constant numbness in my right hand that goes up to the elbow on occasions. Also my right hand seems colder than the left one, specially in thee fingers. Not sure if this makes any sense!

RangerVet's picture

This is my best advice. If your having cold fingers you need to go see a doctor. Obviously your having a punched nerve affecting a vein or a blood problem. Cold fingers is not good. You need to get checked out. You could have a clot. Until then if you are healthy take 81mg baby aspirin to thin your blood. If it is a clot this will help you if it breaks loose and forms a thrombus. Go get it checked asap. Better safe than sorry

RangerVet's picture

Ok do me favor. Press in your left index finger and tell me after you press how long it takes for blood to come back. Should be almost immediately. Then do your right index finger. Is there a difference in the rebound after pressing. You can press on the fingernail or the other side on tip. Let me know

Ghoul's picture

Hi RangerVet,
Sorry it took me couple of hours to get back to you.

I did the pressing test, the blood come back almost immediately on both indexes. Tried it on the nails, same thing, right fingers are not swollen compared to left, they are the same size. Actually I just came from the gym, I did my shoulders and traps, there were no difference in performance or reduction in strength, booth are the same. Now that I am back .. I feel the tingling up to my elbow like a very faint electric current.

I will start the aspirin right away. I've read about HCG might cause a clot, but it is very rare!

RangerVet's picture

Ok if you notice any color changes or coldness in hands you have to go get it checked. Pay close attention to it. Probally a pinched nerve. But cold fingers for no reason at home is not good. Let me know how your doing

Ghoul's picture

Will do. Thank you RangerVet for your help and concern, much appreciated.
All the best.
