Came across this some while back and was wondering if anyone had any anecdotal experiences with EQ acting as an AI. Im sure that if it does than its not significant in any way, but it if this is true, then it could be something to watch out for possibly if you run an AI (which most of us do). Ive ran EQ and test pretty high so i dialed in my AI and just kept it there. I follow allot of people on youtube but this guys videos to get elaborate and detailed. Im neither agreeing or disagreeing with him, just looking for others that may have possibly experienced this as I find this topic interesting considering EQ is Test derived and would aromatize into estrogen so how would it act as an AI?

PcushionSome of EQ is metabolized into 1,4 dienedione a semi potent AI. That said this conversion is not universal some will co very a lot some very little. Experience and lab work is the only way to know for sure how one will respond. Majority of users will not notice or really benefit from this conversion but I have had clients and spoken with a few people who cannot run EQ because it will bottom out their E2. Dfromphilly “I think is his username” can tell you all about his experiences. He can run 1,000mg test with very little Eq and still suffer low E2.
man thats wild. im about to tun test and eq. ill run both at 600 probably for this reason. and then dial in my AI very slowly and at low doses. ill absolutely be getting blood work done probably 3 or 4 times during this cycle. ive ran test at 600 before a couple of times and didnt need too much AI. Good thing I have everything on hand that I could possibly need.
I've heard both arguments. Only true way to tell is with blood work.
BigCactusThere is plenty of bloodwork in the video and in link I posted
BigCactusAlways use the search function, there is a good article written by a member

Very interesting video though. The part about EQ raising estrone and lowering e2 makes a lot sense.
I think the difference in how people respond to EQ is based on how sensitive someone is to estrogen (and estrone).
So if someone is a high estrogen converter, that person could have lowered e2 levels, but not low enough to not need an AI or to crash their e2 + their estrone is also raised.
A normal or low e2 converter could have too low e2 levels or even crashed levels.
I need to read more about estrone though.
That was an awesome read on that article from that member. Yes I need to read more on estrone during a cycle as I seem to only focus on estradiol.
BigCactusYeah every insightful. I think that article plus the video you posted explains it all really. Estrone is apparently a very weak estrogen.
definitely something to take into consideration for sure. even its a weak estrogen, we should still try and monitor it. Im getting ready to run EQ and Test Cyp both at 600. After reading that article and watching that video, I will be more cautious in dialing my AI in where I need it. In both the article and the video they seem to use Aromasin. I have both Aromasin and Arimidex and Im good with either one. Think I do prefer aromasin. Ill have to do some thinking on which one ill want to use.
Arimistane as it's called can be found in a plethora of sarm related pct products out on the market. It's a mild AI and possibly a metabolite of EQ.
PcushionYour are correct.
wow interesting. so its possibly a metabolite of EQ. Do you mean that it could vary person to person on how they metabolize EQ?
Honestly I'm not knowledgeable enough to answer that question. I will look up the article if I have time but I do remember reading somewhere that people who took arimistane got false positives for EQ when taking a test so that might support the theory.
