Will your GP/ doctor happily help

ad

what I'm asking is, will your GP/ doctor care for you if you tell them you are a steroid user and give you the tests required? could they refuse? I live in the UK and a lot of the doctors are less than helpful when it comes to normal things never mind recreational drugs :/ . Thanks

I dont know any doctors who collude with insurance carriers and feed them patients' vices to affect their coverage. Why I doctor likely wont and really shouldnt monitor a steroid user is because fucking lawyers will say the doctor assisted/ endorsed/ supported the users illegal steroid use and if something goes wrong some jackass or their family member will sue the doctor to try to profit for themselves.

you have two choices. You can read and learn all you can and make friends here and on other boards and get advice and figure it out on your own. Or, if you have a fat wallet, depending on where you live there are male "vitality" clinics that basically do this but they charge bank.

Theres only one way to know, and thats go see your doc. I'm in the UK aswell and ive pondered this question myself.

With that being said, I'm going to make an appointment on Monday. Ive got a fkd lower back, I cant even straightun up if ive been sat down. Thats my reason for going but I'll ask about blood tests etc while I'm their. I'll also be honest and upfront about gear use.
I'll post up what happens or doesn't happen, we'll see.

Unfortunately while our laws on aas are slightly more 'relaxed' that doesn't seem to filter through to our health service. Of course if you have something wrong with you due to the use of steroids they will offer you the best possible medical help but don't go in thinking you can get bloods done for free I.e total test levels , free test level, estro or any of that good stuff , unless you happen to have a super cool GP who don't give a fuck. Chances of that are slim. Always worth a try though.

true I guess it differs, aas is highly illegal here, it involves jail time, but most drs are cool, I had one wanker refuse to help me, but another dr helped me and monitored my last cycle, even offered me his nurse to inject me.

they should help you, just like they would help drug addicts, if someone goes in overdosing on heroin, they help them, so no reason why they wont.

In the US, the private medical insurance industry often seems poised to deny coverage and cancel policies for any excuse they can get their hands on. My general recommendation for US AAS users is not to share steroid use with your doc.
