It isn't talked about alot and I shouldn't talk bc... i know very little about strength training but out of everything ive used, I have been most impressed by Winstrol. Im pretty sure the halo i got was bunk but nothing gave me strength/power like winny honestly.
O yeah? No joint issues?
I only ran it once or twice. And not for long. 2 or 3 weeks 100mg a day. Pretty sure i was running npp or deca with it. I just remember my work outs for those weeks... i felt stronger than I ever have i always attributed it to the winny.
Forget the joint issues... Last time in took it, i got pains in i believe what was my liver so... i don't mess with many orals anymore and I always take my tudca n pound water like a good boy
I drop my carbs to next to nothing and do high reps/Cardio. Then the day I need strength, 1.5 hours preworkout, I load up on carbs, salt, potassium, a little fructose, and maybe a small amount of caffeine. Doing this off cycle or on for that matter feels just as strong as any preworkout drol, tren base, tne ect. This is basically injecting carbs straight into carb deprived muscle tissue. Feels fucking insane.. endurance and pumps like they gunna pop... I never felt strength like this
They asked Dave palumbo the other day what's the most crazy stack you ever heard? His answer anything Boston Lloyd tried rip.
Bostin was a fucktard.
He was doing stupid shit but over all he was entertaining and taught me what not to do.
Good! Agree brother!
R.I.P
The interviews Palumbo did with his mom were awesome! It was cool hearing stories of him when he was younger.
He seemed like a cool down to Earth dude but he's no different than alot of guys who are basic walking laboratory experiments. Gotta eventually pay that price. I think I told u what I've witnessed. But yeah sad to see him go. R.I.P
Never under estimate the power of supplements and recovery either, its not just about the steroids. Building strength is largely dependable on how quickly you can fully recover a muscle, the quicker the recovery period is and you can get back to hitting that muscle again the stronger it will become within a given timeframe. If you can hit bench hard every other day for example, you will be much stronger than the guy hitting it once per week. This is almost an impossible training frequency for most people - but there are top level guys out there that can hit this and their performance is not affected in anyway, hence they are the professionals in the sport. Supplements I have found that can really help heal you quicker are extra Leucine powder in protein shakes (raises the protein synthesis level), Creatine (increase leverages, water in joints and available ATP power), EAA's (very good as an addition to whey in getting down recovery times), Whey hydrolysate (quick & high protein content allowing you to eat a meal very quickly after consuming a 60g shake), Dextrose powder (easy to get in extra carbs and calories) added into drinks, Full Vitamin spectrum (for great energy and positive mindset in training) Collagen Peptides (tendon and connective tissue healing). Those are just some to come to mind right now
Great post! It’s also very important to remember that strength gains have just as much to do with mastering the movement than trying to hit a 1RM every time. I often see guys at my gym training for strength but using poor form and not activating all of the muscle groups involved in a complex movement. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen guys trying to max out on bench with shit form that doesn’t incorporate any support or upwards thrust from their lats.
When it comes to strength training I view form as most important, diet and supplements secondary and gear as the icing on the cake over the first two are mastered.
Edit: In reference to the current poll question on the home page- I was taking my morning/pre-workout shit when this comment was posted.
100% Glad you mentioned that as most powerlifters would agree with you. Time and time again you'll see a guy trying to lift heavy using sloppy form and guess what magically happens? An injury in training or a bomb out on a lift if he is competing in competition. I've spoken on this before, it somewhat involves the mind muscle connection which you'd think only applies to bodybuilding but not so much the case as it also applies to powerlifting to a certain extent as you pointed out. These movements have to be mastered in order to proceed to lift heavier weights and that's facts that any successful powerlifting would know. Also in the past I've mentioned lat activation for bar stability and upwards thrust when it comes to bench pressing so glad you pointed that out. Folks need to understand it's more than just lifting heavy, technique and mastering movements play a big part so thanks for bringing that point up.
Gotta know what you're doing
The compounds that are the most effective for strength increases are generally the ones that come with the most side effects, and the ones that you will feel the most unhealthy on. So you have Trenbolone, Superdrol, Anadrol, Halo, Dianabol (can make some people feel rough) etc. You also have to remember that with compounds like these, the strength jumps will go as fast as they come, as soon as you stop running them. Injectable orals such as Adrol or DBol come in very handy here as they are extremely tolerable to run for long periods, with minimal side effects and decreases in appetite. The best way to do things though is to get on 2 injectable compounds like Test and NPP that carry minimal toxicity - and learn how to lift the big 3 lifts (squat, bench, deadlift) properly and how to run effective training programmes. You will build much more sustainable and long term strength than jumping on a couple of strong compounds and probably ending up with a tendon or muscle tear.
This is also why it is VERY important to build up a good level of strength before running any gear at all in the first place because it shows you have a basic understanding of how to build and progress strength, then all you have to do is add in gear and all those lifts will increase automatically without you having to even think about it.
Not my PR but last November had a friendly competition
BW 185
Squat 365
Bench 290
Deadlift 405
I haven't trained for power until recently. Usually more of a body builder type workouts and diet
Those are some good numbers if they were while you were still natural, more than sufficient to be jumping on steroids to continue your journey
Boom!!
Androl sublingual 45 mins before training with beta alanine and L-carnitine orally BOOOOOM
Squat dead bench once a week and 4th day for accessory work. I like 3x3 and 5x5 all depends on how I feel. Volume days are at 60-70% max using chains and reverse band. High reps short rest periods. And max days id take 5 minute rest periods lol. Jumps for quick tho. I’d go plate add a quarter then add a plate so on and so forth. If I wasn’t going for a single I’d go for 2x2 again based on how my body is feeling. Also ate like a monster during this time
What da hell. You are ready! Boards....bands.....chains! Welcome to the dark side!
It was nice hearing from ya and stay strong. Keep us updated too
5x5 workout. Pyramids. 2min rest between sets on power days. 30secs on volume days. Good whey post workout followed by 45mins later a complete small meal
Well well well looks like me and my old friend finally agree on something. This is groundbreaking...Hey Greg!!!! Lolol
Still blind? Theres many agreements in the last year since i came here but you spend too much effort arguing. Poke out an eye makes the whole world blind
I have noticed a change with u for the better so I'll give u that deserved credit...but you know I'll be watching you. You know we're old Frienemies lol and that's just the way it is. But nice to be cordial I admit so credit to you as a man.
Give a fuck who you watch. Somehow you think im someone else which is beyond paranoid
Hi
Easy easy easy. No paranoia. It's all good. I just got you confused with someone else that's all. U forgive me? Won't happen again. Arguing isn't necessary. You're good
Huhhh???!!!!You wanna poke my eye out!??
Arguing with you? Huhhh??? I try to stop you from arguing with members.
Whether we like it or not we have a history together but I'll have to keep ya in check lol. Nice chatting with you again. Let's do this more lol
anvilYou are truly a moron ! You argue and try and stay relevant. And it's always about you and what you have done. You are the one telling everyone who he is, then you back down? At least stand by your words. You just did the same with stokes and told you off, now you are backing down again to @Jockstrap when you start all the crap about who he is ? Who gives a turd what you think..no one. Grow a friend!
Clearly Lil Beirut and I were messing with him but since you just had to troll once again, why not contribute anything positive to this post? Lol dude who cares what you think because no one is falling for all the lies and gossip. You're a fraud which I've proved so how would anyone take u serious? Seriously.. I feel bad for even engaging with you but man you've gotten into arguments with several guys this week including a good 10 yr old veteran who pointed out same exact things I have pointed out with you. Shilled at that src today and argued, and that kid has u bitter about you looking the same as u looked at 16. Massive Grams of gear over the years and this is what you bring? . No damn receptors! You really feel that you're some king of Eroids or something right? U say Mak left u in charge huh? Let it go! I just don't get it my man but it's just a matter of time. You're toxic. U call out good members and I'll call u out. It's all petty. .
U say u speak your mind but damn, must be the mind of a child and not some 50 yr old, so I suggest u act your age. Lowered myself to your pathetic rat like standards but this needs to be said. . So while you're trying to think of another lie take a look at these spandex leggings that are the exact ones u wear in your pic. You have nice curvy child bearing hips along with an ass that has many miles on it from more entrances than exits. Gyno also that even had your damn dog closing his eyes...now that's bad for a tough guy from NY! U can't fool me man, especially with bitch titts. Anyways no need to clog up this page which u will as usual.
I've been doing whey two hours before as well as 45 mins after.
Do you think 5 reps is better than 3?
Do you like doing SBD twice a week or only one?
Muscle workouts burn only carbs. Thats your energy. Preworkout carbs let you power thru. During peak muscle stress....your body also boosts hgh/igf1. Hitting carbs right after workout shuts down that natty boost because insulin raises. So post workout protein gets shuttled fast with that natty hgh boost. Let it do its job. Then bout 45mins get nutrient dense meal for caloric input and further recovery. Iso whey as example is fast into the blood stream. Hgh shuttles. Roids in the cell signal faster repair. Insulins natural boost with that 45min laster meal shuts off that last bit of hgh and grabs the carbs and shuttles them back into cells for energy.
Dee below posts on 3 vs 5 and agree. One reason i love pyramids is youre fatigued prior to hitting peak numbers. So if you 1rep bench is 250 your muscles are fully pumped and fatigued to where 5rep might be 225. Youre still growing. It shocks the system into growth. You will see in time that 225 x 5 moving towards 250. And that 1rep max moves up as well. Personally i dont like 1 rep unless its necessary. But if you compete in strongman or power then its your job.
Thank you. Ya I've been working out with power lifters as of late and am way behind their lifts. Makes me want to see what I'm able to do
Some guys have that freak strength! Just listen to your body especially on cycle as muscle grows faster than ligaments. It is a rush when the gym stops to watch you pushing.
To answer your question 5 would be better than 3 simply because you don't want to further risk injury with lower reps and you aren't a trained powerlifter. That's no knock on ya it's just looking out for your safety. Powerlifters go lower with reps. For any bodybuilder that wants a bit more strength I'd recommend sets of 5 reps, nothing lower than that. With that being said proper form is essential
I'm starting to workout with powerlifters so we've been doing a lot of "top sets" then back down. They are all lifting way heavier on the main 3 lifts than me
It can be a little intimidating for sure. Imagine being taught by top Dawgs in the sport during that particular time. I looked up to those guys but they went hard on my ass for sure. Watching one of them bleeding from the nose and playing with massive weight wasn't normal lol. But in all one of the best experiences for me ever as a young buck. Enjoy it man.
Well don't worry about them lifting heavier than you because for you it's all about getting that experience and those added benefits that will help u achieve your goals. Strength training is a bit strange and different but it is what it is. Just watch out for injuries
Oh, EZ.
Tren, if you can handle the sides
Haha can't handle it unfortunately. You think masteron or eq would be better? Or just some test n dbol? I'm usually natty but tired of seeing everybody else lifting heavier than me lol
I guess it’s really depending on what else you’re looking for, if you’re wanting to put on mass and strength or just strength.
Test 200 +mast 400 and sprinkle in some var, max 20mg you should see some pretty great strength increases with minimal water retention and minimal sides.
Test and dbol will definitely increase strength but you will have a lot more water retention with the dbol.
I agree, tren is not for me. I’m short tempered and it just turns me into a maniac. So I stay away lol
Me too being short tempered. I just want to add some strength for real.
What other gear messes with your temper?
Mibolerone /dimethylnortestosterone was know as Cheque Drops that shit sends your aggression through the roof fighters used it for that reason but I think it was big in the power lifting scene aswell
And you rarely see that in shops idk anyone who's personally took it I figured if it's above halotestin and tren what the hell would I need that for I still regret taking oral tren the 1 day and that was 500 mcg I've heard people take 2 to 3 times that much at once then again idk how anyone takes 6 lasix before I.comperition or 50 mg halotestin for 2 weeks maybe I'm a light weight
This is exactly why I really like this community and wish I found it years ago. I’m able to share what I know but also learn from the mountains of other information.
That’s what it’s all about mate , 27years I been on this journey and I still learn new things here
Its basically the same as taking artificial adrenaline.
I've heard a lot lately if you didn't wanna take superdrol preworkout lgd 4033 works really good for strength though haven't tried it before
I tried LGD 4033 about 6 months ago now due to things I read about it - in all honesty it had that same artificial feeling to it like many SARM's and Prohormones do and made me feel extremely tired and lethargic after taking it, so it was short lived lol
