Try going d-bells for a month and working your weight up with them then switch back to the bar and you will be amazed how much stronger your bench got..worked wonders for me..
Congrats! Just keep in mind to not get too crazy where ya pull or tear. High five on kicking ass!
Thanks. what do you mean not too crazy?
Juice will obviously boost you're strength faster than ligaments strengthen. So pushing too hard for new Max lifts can tear. I try to not lift below 8 reps. Its radd you made a new goal but you're also in turbo mode.
dbolzDont push too hard too soon or you will end up with either pec tear or rc tear. Take it slow and easy. Fast is very wise there
Thanks buddy! Its rad when anyone makes new goals but don't want to see those goals destroyed either.
Right i feel both of you. thanks. so when i am off the roids, what should i keep my reps and sets at? also during pct
There's a few different ways to lift on pct. On cycle i do pyramids to failure but keep reps above 8. I blast chest and back same day to shock system. So after cycle go back to chests and tris. 4sets of 12 and done....(bench..decline..incline etc). A chest tri day like that usually has me done in 45mins. Pump vs powerlift. Legs day is tough enough alone....
dbolzI would drop down around 15-20% at the start of pct then try and go up slowly. Dont try and use 100% of your strength in pct whatever feels comfortable. Target in pct is to just get in the gym and workout not the same as when on cycle. Same reps and same sets even if it takes you an hour longer to complete the routine
The last sentence kind of goes against the rest you said. can you e plain?
dbolzYou drop your weights not your sets or reps. Thats all i do in pct then build back slowly to what you were lifting on cycle. When you crash its not wise to try and lift 100% of the weights you were lifting while on cycle. The routine i never change only the weights, it just takes ages to complete comparing to while on.
dbolzCongrats mate not bad for a 190. You are on the right track
Not bad and not great though. i should be able to hit.it 8 or 10 times i feel
Just remember that lifting is a lifelong achievement. Going up even 10lbs pressing in a year after Max is a huge goal. Look up powerlifters. The best powerlifters are near or over 40 and set lifetime goals by simply adding 2-5lbs. The guys I've seen push for siperhero in a year get broken and don't retirn.
I dig that man. thanks
Duplicate...oops
Oh ya, talking about the bench
