Water retention??

ad

Its my first cycle so forgive me if i ask some odd questions!

I have put on some good muscle IMO and took adex from the start to minimise water gain as i really wanted to remain as lean as poss even if it meant not gaining as much as i could.

I have noticed the last couple of days that the skin over my abs feels very wierd and almost seems to be sagging a little.

It actually feels to the touch like it has lost some elasticity and is almost squidgy! Crap description i know! I am just wondering if this sounds like a bit of water retention to you guys? I dont seem to be holding water anywhere else at all though which i find odd.

Could be a little bloat. Keep your sodium under control get an OTC water pill like Diurex. That will help if it indeed water retention.

couldn't he also try to eat a little more potassium? or do electrolytes just in general force you to hold water?
edit: as a side note, I was astounded at how hard it is to get your recommended value of potassium haha. unless you're eating like six potatoes a day

Yeah it can be a challenge. That's where a solid multi vitamin comes into play. It's also very difficult to keep sodium levels to a minimum if you don't prepare every meal yourself with food you know is already low on sodium. I think the daily allotment for adults is around 2400mgs. One stop through the drive thru at McDonalds can blow that out of the water.
