+ 2 TRT Dose vs. On Cycle

ad

I continue to see so many folks using the wrong terminology when it comes to a lot of things here. The main one being, "im cruising at a trt dose of 300mg per week".
Well whats the difference, its all the same right? Well you know what i mean. lol

There is a difference between a "testosterone replacement therapy" aka T.R.T. and a full blown anabolic androgenic steroid cycle. Testosterone replacement therapy is LEGAL, overseen by a medical professional who majority of the time prescribes the amount of testosterone to give you the level of testosterone you should be at for your age. Therefore there has to be low testosterone to be on T.R.T. Most T.R.T. physicians will only prescribe 125mg-200mg per week.

On cycle is self prescribed, illegal , and way more than T.R.T. On cycle for terms of the AAS world and medical world from my research is 150mg plus. The point im trying to make here is when guys say im "cruising on 250mg per week" is not the proper terminology here. im sure theres some things im missing but for the most part the point im trying to make is a T.R.T. dose isnt 250mg per week, that is "on cycle", because its self prescribed amognst other factors some vets can elaborate on in here. This is my 1st post, I hope this is in the right place. Thanks guys.

TRT is prescribed test dose to replace “natural” levels. Cruising simply refers to taking lower dose gear between actual cycles.

I personally say cruise when im on my doc trt. I do know some people that say cruise when they are taking a mini cycle. Best to just be specific on what you say or ask when figuring things out

Cruising isn't TRT. Most people cruising legitimately don't need TRT since natty levels are fine but they feel the need to be higher than that under the false assumption they will lose their gains otherwise. Typically not a smart choice for most people and will likely eventually require the need for actual TRT sooner rather than later.

TRT is a legit method for replacing testosterone back to natural levels. The key here is natty levels. Not high end of normal where you require an ai to control estro. If estro is to high then test is to high. Should be done under supervision of doc but can be reasonably done with responsible bloodwork on your own if for some odd reason insurance won't cover it. And no, TRT clinics are NOT TRT.
