Testosterone and Coumadin
Just a quick question if anyone has any first hand experience. I had a blood clot in my heart 3 years ago and was put on blood thinners. Not knowing of any interactions I went on a light prohormone cycle. A few days later I had a minor muscle tear in my hamstring which turned into major internal bleeding since my blood got so thin from the elevated hormone levels. (INR was over 10) My leg took over a month to heal and this was hands down the worst injury of my life. Hence I have not been on any type of testosterone/prohormone since.
I read somewhere on here that someone was taking 600 mgs of test E per week and it had no effect on INR while Superdrol caused a huge spike in INR. Was wondering if anyone had any experience taking testosterone and coumadin. It's an awful drug that I'm trying to get off but for now I'm stuck. I'd love to get on a cycle if the test isn't going to interfere with my blood thinness. Any help would be appreciated.

JHAnswer is to absolutely stay away from gear including Test. Your RBC along with hematocrits will be affected causing issues with Coumadin dosage. It is not worth the potential danger and harm to the body. As catalyst said, we are here to help in other ways as well such as Diets, workout regimen etc.
alex2678Can't thank you all enough for the replies so far. I don't think I'm willing to risk potential death to regain lost size. Not to hijack my own thread but would this apply to the various peptides (GHRPs, IGF-LR3......) as well or are these in another category entirely with regards to INR interactions? I know my best best is to stay entirely clean while I'm on Coumadin which is what I'm leaning towards.
I'd steer clear full stop. The problem with a lot of peptide data is we don't have a huge amount of human research. In your situation, common sense tells me to be overly cautious.
As I said below, if I can help you maximise your natural results feel free to drop me a friend request and a PM.
JHagreed a 100%. There is no long term validated human data showing peptide usage with correlation of blood thinners(even aspirin). I would not bet my life on anything that is out there currently. The hormonal changes with the peptides can affect your INR. Also, INR is not your only concern as you have to look at the whole picture of blood work and how the blood thinners affect your heart and clotting factors.
I would highly recommend consulting a hematologist if you still have intentions of running anything at all.
Mate, I could answer you from a research science point of view, but I don't think you'll like it. In your situation I'd honestly never run gear. I realise that's probably the last thing you want to hear, but there's other things more important.
If I can help you in any way with nutrition and diet, I'm happy to help you. Gear? Don't do it.
Danger play my friend! Seek real medical advice.
Not a question for an internet forum. Go ask a qualified physician.
Surely it has to be best to stay away from gear completely, we all run the risk when we mess with our natural state but you my friend sound like you could be running the risk 10 fold and of course it is totally your choice but for me it's a no brainer.
I wish you well and whatever you decide to do, keep it safe.
PallMallbest bet would be to ask your doctor..
