Test Flu
I think I might have the test flu. Yesterday I pinned for the very first time. I was pleasantly surprised how painless and easy it was. I didn't know what I was ever scared of. I read all the injection how-tos and watched all the videos. I was very thorough with cleanliness and sterilization. I admit I was so scared that I chickened out a few days ago and waited until yesterday.
I am on a basic 500mg/week test e cycle with aromasin 25mg EOD and will start HCG in a few weeks. I used a 23g one inch needle and pinned in the upper outer right thigh. Like I said, I was nervous about injecting and read that many guys do the whole 500mg in one shot one per week, so that's what I did. I have 300mg/mL so I filled it up to 1.67 cc. I remembered to aspirate and saw only air bubbles come out. I proceeded to inject and by the time it was all in I had counted to 45 in my head. I counted an additional 30 seconds to prevent leakage. I then massaged for a few minutes then took a shower.
I was feeling tired from already having worked out and from my nerves being shot, so I took a nap. It ended up being like three hours. When I woke up my thigh was sore like someone had punched me hard, but no big deal. As the day wore on it started to hurt more and I started to feel like I had a fever and no appetite to eat anything. I tossed and turned all night and kept waking up in sweats while feeling very thirsty. Now it's morning and I've eaten a little and actually do feel slightly better after eating, but I can put very little weight on my right leg and my whole body is achey. I started taking some doxycycline as I know it is an antibiotic. There is no swelling in my thigh nor any redness or warm spot.
Is this going to happen everytime I pin? I assume my body will get used to the foreign object but will I have the same soreness for days everytime I inject a new muscle? I can't imagine going through this 11 more weeks because although the soreness is tolerable, there's no way I can squat or deadlift today and it's leg day. Plus I don't feel like lifting anything at all. I wish I could stay in bed all day. Should I man up and inject twice a week with half the dose each time? Or is the same thing going to happen each time? I really don't want to feel like this every three and a half days.

Seems like rusty cleared this one up pretty quick. My test flu was brutal and I stuck it out for the full 12 weeks. It was my first cycle also but it was just because my test e was so concentrated at 500mg/ml. I was pinning 250mg/2x per week and constantly had pirate leg and flu for about 8 hours after each pin, same symptoms your feeling. I sure learned quick after that cycle lol. You have 300mg/ml so yea split that up twice a week and you'll be golden.
Yes, I'm definitely better now. There's only barely soreness in my thigh now. I'm going to try glutes this time. Only thing that worries me is now that I've gotten more muscular it's hard to reach back there. He never answered when I'm supposed to start the aromasin. I guess the only new side effect I have now is a barely noticeable ache in my balls that I've read is normal.
You have to learn your own body and know how it's reacting to each compound. Everyone does things a little differently.
Well the test doesn't kick in until 4-5 weeks. I usually start aro at half a tab or 12.5mg/day once I start to feel the sides of high estro. So like irritable, temp fluctuations, pretty much when I start feeling like a little girl lol. Some people like to start it early at around the 2 wk mark since your pretty much shut down by then also. If your using a prop kicker id start the aro right away. I'll usually run the aro until a little after my cycle then I'll start PCT. I think that pain in yor balls is normal it's probably just them atrophying I've felt that before also.
As rusty said man ....stats and info! Makes it alot easier to get help

Just started yesterday....
500mg test e once per week for 12 weeks
Aromasin 25mg EOD weeks 1-14
HCG 500 uis/week weeks 4-14
Tamoxifen 40/40/20/20 weeks 14-17
Clomid weeks 14-17
I'm deployed so it's hard to track my macros but I've been eating approximately 4500 calories per day and about 200g of protein. I'm not sure of my fat and carb intake but I eat a lot of chicken, fish, nuts, fruits, and vegetables. I am also on a ton of supplements - whey, casein, creatine, glutamine, fish oil, multivitamin, glutamine, NO booster, carnitine, BCAAs, beta-ecdysterone, beta-alanine, to name a few.
Now that I've forced some food in my belly and chugged some orange juice and water I'm feeling a little better. Just some overall acheyness and thigh is still too sore for any heavy lifting. I've been forcing myself to not sit too long. Should I massage some more? Foam roll?
RustyhookerSays 39 years old?
Stop that aromasin asap! You crash estro and you'll feel lime bucket o shit. Test takes 4 Weeks roughly to fully feel the boom.
You also banged your sensitive quad with near 600Mg in one pin. I'd wobble! And i know better! Ouch! 1cc is 300. 1.67...well you do the math.
Spotinjections.com learn learn. Click my emoticon...my forums...so you got pip?
You got good old virgin quad numnuts oh hell. Heat pack. Tylenol. Blood flow. Only 1cc Monday per my forum instructions. 1cc Thursday. Ventroglutes are easiest. Quads aren't bad if seasoned and prepared.
True test flu you feel like cold or flu bout to hit. Yukky but not dying sick. Mega b/c//zinc stack helps a ton. But you got virgin pip. We've all been there boss.
Yes, 39.
When do I start the aromasin?
1.67 is 500mg, the dosage I've been recommended as a noob. Next week I'll switch to twice weekly.
Yeah, I would describe the feeling as more coldlike than flu. Slight fever and body aches but no nausea. That has gone away now that the day has gone on and I've worked out. We did all the sissy leg exercises like leg extensions and curls. That's helped with the soreness. All in all I'm feeling better.
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
