Starting a cycle with low natural levels
ad
Well guys, found out I have abnormally low T levels.
Suffered from hypogonadism my whole life without even realizing it.
I got my T levels checked last week, came back at 279 and I'm 23 years old
There's a very good chance my Dr. wants to put me on HRT....
I suffer from extreme lethargy, depression, inability to recover from my job and lifting weights,
I don't really want to start doing that as of now, maybe somewhere down the line but not now.
My question is, if I decided to blast, would there even being a point in doing PCT?
Would it make more sense to run a low trt dose and cruise inbetween cycles, and then eventually down the road in my late age go on medical TRT?

I had low T long before I ever cycled. What I have observed with my levels when cycling is this. During PCT my T levels are elevated, obviously. After PCT they stay elevated for about 4-6 weeks. They then return back to my normal low level after about 8-10 weeks.
I'd reccomend running a PCT before you start a cycle just too see if you can actually raise your levels and get them to hold, this is something I wish I had have done. If that doesnt work out get yourself ln TRT through a doctor if possible, get used to that for a while then consider hitting a cycle.
id be hitting a big pct before doing any cycles!!! clomid, nolva, aromasin, along with natural products like testofen, daa, zinc, vitamin d, even changing your diet aswell!!! run it for 6 weeks then get bloods, id rather try that than be on trt mate, have a look at gymchemists post- its called my fertility journey!!! infertile to having a baby!!! you might be ok
On the bright side, you finally found out what is wrong rather than more years of misery! I also think you have lucked out because of your age regarding TRT. Most doctors will want to reestablish a T level in a patient that is normal for that patient's age. So, for you, my man, that is nice and high and should be more than sufficient to allow you to make gains in the gym. Get on the TRT, train hard, eat clean and you will grow. When you max out on what is possible from TRT, then I would consider other options.
I'd say instead of doing straight trt, run your short cycle 10-12 weeks low dose (400mg test E) and then run a traditional PCT.
Hopefully the PCT can help kickstart your natural system into producing more natural testosterone. I'd run the cycle test E 12 weeks, then 20 days last injection begin nolvadex/clomid/proviron PCT for 4 weeks.
Then 8-10 weeks after PCT gets bloodwork done. Check shbg, estrogen, e2/estradiol, free test and total test. Also check thyroid levels and cholesterol and any other essential bloodwork. Post labs here so we can see if everything is normal or not.
If your test levels go back to same level or less then you can talk to doctor about TRT. If they are higher and you feel better you may not need TRT!!
AnonAs alpa said, get things sorted with the doc. Get ur trt sorted and experience living within normal test ranges for a while. Then look at blasting. Hope it all works out for you buddy.
RustyhookerTrt first. You blast and then have lot natty test...loss if gains and bacj to feeling shitty. Medical route first bud
I don't understand. You don't want to go on TRT under the supervision of a medical doctor but you think it's a good idea to blast and cruise on your own?
IMO you need to get things sqared away with TRT if that's what you need and once you're used to pinning, building muscle within a normal hormonal range, and developing a muscular base for yourself - THEN we talk about steriods. I think it would be a bad idea to just start blasting and cruising.
I appreciate the advice, I will listen and hold off till Friday. Have an appt. with an endo and will see what he feels is the best course of action.
I appreciate the kind and helpful responses!
Great bro, glad to hear it.
