Psoriasis and anavar

ad

New here and just finishing up my first cycle. My plan was 600 test a week and finish with 50mg of anavar for a week then 75mg of anavar until I’m out. I’ve had a few pimples here and there but nothing arimidex could take care of. I also have had psoriasis for the past 10 years, patch here patch there nothing to crazy though. Seven days into the anavar and I look like I have a severe case of chicken pox with how bad it is now. Just wondering if anyone else has had these issues.
Thanks.

Update, I took Benadryl and used a Benadryl lotion and almost all my symptoms went away. Apparently I’m allergic.

I think in general you’ll be likely to see more flare ups with psoriasis when using gear. Found this write up which is worth a read. Fairly old, but relevant still.

“On direct questioning he admitted to being a keen body builder and said that he had been taking anabolic steroid preparations orally for the previous year. The main drug he used was oxandrolone. His habit had been to take the oxandrolone for 3 weeks and then omit the oxandrolone for a week. These periods corresponded respectively to phases of improvement and flare-up in his psoriasis. He was advised to discontinue the anabolic steroids to help both his psoriasis and his general health. Thereafter his psoriasis become more stable, and easier to control with a single topical agent. The use of anabolic steroids is becoming more prevalent. A study in the U.S.A. in 1988 showed that one in 15 senior male students had used them." In addition the therapeutic dose is often exceeded: Brower et al. found that users were taking between twice to 26 times the therapeutic dose.' Other side effects include premature closure of the epiphyses, gynaeco- mastia, avascular necrosis of the femoral head, premature
atherosclerosis, cardiac arrhythmias and hypokalaemia. Exacerbation of psoriasis has not been described previously. Our patient shows that anabolic steroids can de-stabilize psoriasis. Androgens have some features in common to corticosteroids such as effects on glucose metabolism and fluid retention. However, they have much greater effects on sexual maturation and muscle formation." It is therefore possible that anabolic steroids can de stabilize psoriasis via a corticosterold-like effect. Enquiries regarding anabolic steroid use should be made in young patients, particularly males,
whose psoriasis has become difficult to manage.”

I take methotrexate and use clobetasol if you’re familiar with those medication’s. I was just wondering if it was just a regular outbreak that I have but worse or if other people with psoriasis have experienced this while taking anavar.

The Anavar can be conflicting with the medication you’re currently on, causing an allergic reaction. I would shit can the Anavar.. Sounds like it brought the funk, LOL.

Talk about playing with fire, skating on thin ice, running the risk, taking the plunge, hanging by a thread, tempting fate, flirting with danger. Y'all get the point.
