First Cycle: Dbol/Test Cypionate
Hello all,
As you can read up on in my intro post, I am a trans man on my first cycle. No "trans" does not mean I'm a dude that crossdresses...haha. I am and have been transitioning from female to male with hormone replacement therapy. This fact is beside the point for joining up here, so please keep negativity and personal opinion to a low roar.
I am 27 y/o and have started my first cycle using Dbol and Test Cypionate. My dosing consists of:
Week 1-4: 20mg Dbol per day (which I'm also hoping to reap androgenic effects like facial hair growth from)
Week 1-10 250mg/wk of testosterone cypionate, split Tuesday & Friday
plus my prescribed 60mg/wk of test cyp so I don't miss my transitional dosage in case of bunk product.
I had bloodwork done prior to cycling to compare about a month in for proof of legit test cyp. I am a day shy of two weeks into cycle and thus far there is really nothing to write home about. Increased acne on face and back. Frequently have PIP after source test injections, but not after my prescription test inject- guessing the volume difference could be to blame. Gym life has shown some increase in weightlifting ability for arms and chest. I aim to lift heavy and work to fatigue, but hardly get the pumps that many Dbol users have talked about. Perhaps increasing dose of Dbol would help? I only have two weeks left of using the product so I really want to dose adequately. I stayed down at 20mg the first two weeks because physiologically I am more female than male, so I thought even a small dose would be extremely effective.
I am very open to questions and constructive criticism.

firebossrusty hooker is giving great advice.
I agree with the guys below. It will be much harder to control estro with dbol. Drop it
Welcome to eroids brother. Rusty is absolutely right, hit up GRRL, or even a few of the other ladies on these forums because since you are physiologically more female than male, you are going to react much differently than most of us.
Definitely drop Dbol.
Feel free to post up diet and routine for us to take a look at and help tweak, or hit up Catalysy and TonyTulo in the dieting forum to have them dial you in even more. Also take a look at Rusty's profile. He's got a great routine there for everyone to see.
Thank you for the suggestions.
Diet wise I track my intake with "myfitnesspal". I aim for 3,000 calories (some days it just won't happen). As this is my first cycle, starting at high body fat and all I want for Christmas is GAINS, I limit my foods to the following:
egg whites, oats, chicken breast, salmon, ground turkey, broccoli, asparagus, black beans, quinoa, sweet potatoes, spinach, NAKED brand protein, casein protein, black coffee, orange juice,
I mix it up and combine these in various ways to get at LEAST three meals and two protein shakes. As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm a full time medic and 12 hour+ shifts are the norm. Getting time to eat actual food more than 3x is unheard of. Sometimes I don't even get to 3, which will definitely hinder my progress.
I will definitely look to those forums you mentioned. Thanks!
I completely understand. I work as a project manager so if it's a field day and I'm running site to site solid meals are out of the picture until I can get home and make up for it. You can definitely get daily values from just three meals, and then just supplement it with shakes. I know my shakes run close to 2k in calories, but they're always last resorts for me.
You can get very creative with shakes and make them out of solid food, which is great when it really comes down to getting some "solid food shakes" in. I consider it eating a pre-digested meal
blended oats, whole milk, egg whites scoop of protein powder or two makes for a nice 1000+ cal shake, and in reality im eating oatmeal and eggwhites, one of the best sources of carbs and best sources of protein. Shakes are only really bad when theyre the store made kind with straight whey protein and 100g+ of sugar for the carb source.
Well said. I used to buy those weight gainer mixes back in the day, and yeah they have their place when you weigh less than a large dog. But that amount of sugar really causes heavy lethargy right after, and then the crash is painful.
I make similar shakes to yours, oats, PB, banana, tuna/salmon and two scoops of weigh is one variation. It's basically a simple concept: if you put shit into the shakes you'll feel like shit. If you put hearty ingredients in, it's no different than a meal.

RustyhookerDont run dbol first cycle. The added estro will be outra your norm of control. Keep it simple. Run the low test as you are, blood test week 5 to adjust ai as/if needed.
Id also use magnifying glass up top and find Grrl. She's very smart on cycles. Get her input as it would benefit your needs.
Food and gym should be your focus if adding mass. Gear is gear. The magic is food and gym.
great advice here, thank you for taking the time. I had considered a test only cycle but ultimately fell into the rave reviews about Dbol and had thought an estrogen blocker would be sufficient enough. However I have no problem seeing how far the test alone takes me, assuming it is legit. I'll definitely look up that member. Thanks again.
RustyhookerUntil you master one chem, it forces you to blindly troubleshoot the issue. Test is strong enough to add mass. Easier to understand how your body uses the chem and sides.
