Not your average newbie...
Hello all!
I have read through countless forums here prior to beginning my first cycle and decided it would be wise to join up not only to contribute reviews but also gain some constructive criticism. I have been active all my life, and the gym has been a constant in my adult years. However, life in the military and after discharge my life as a full time medic causes constant disrupt in diet and sleeping patterns. in 2015 I took a good look at myself, 26 years of work and still couldn't relate to the body looking back at me.
What none of you are expecting is this next part...
I'm a trans man, meaning I am transitioning from female to male. Trust me, I have no room for negative personal opinions about this fact- my life, my body, let's be adults without pushing our individual views and spreading hate. I have been transitioning for a little over a year now, on TRT of testosterone cypionate at 60mg/week. Prior to TRT all my years in the gym were as a female, reluctant to make any gains whatsoever, and definitely reluctant to shed body fat effectively. Since TRT I have had some very positive physiological changes, and did more for my body in about 6 months with testosterone than I had in a lifetime without TRT. My diet is extremely clean, and I am very serious about building an entirely new me.
Anxious for change to overcome my body dysphoria, I decided to begin my first steroid cycle after much research, which began earlier this month. It consists of 20mg Dbol per day (which I'm also hoping to reap androgenic effects like facial hair growth from) and 250mg/wk of testosterone cypionate, plus my prescribed 60mg/wk of test cyp so I don't miss my transitional dosage in case of bunk product. I will be finding the appropriate forum to post up a log and get some insight, though I'm sure experience helping a trans man with cycles is a rare occurrence due to lack of experience on the subject. Regardless, I hope to gain some positive feedback and input in these forums.

Good luck on your journey an be proud for making a better you!
PallMallWelcome. Honestly I dont know mich about how high dosages of anabolics/androgens will effect you and im guessing finding real research relevant to you may be slightly difficult. I do know however the effects anavar had on my girlfriend though and she did start growing small amount of facial hair (mostly only above her lips). So you may be in luck there. Im definitely interested in how this undertaking goes for you though and look forward to input only you will be able to provide.
Bfg (site owner) put a great search function on the site (the magnifying glass icon) thats helped me quite a bit in the past three years and could probabl help answer some of your questions.
Anyway, glad youre here and i look forward to reading about your progress.
welcome, the members here are mostly bodybuilders, powerlifter, gym rats are pretty much considered "outcasts" in society.. specially with the bad rep PED has.. being different is awesome..hopefully you can achieve your goals and make new friends..
Welcome! You are in the right place. Everyone here is very knowledgeable. Good luck on your journey!
Loui is that you? (just kidding)
My 17 year old son is also a "trans man" he's been transitioning for the last year.
You'll find that the majority here will support you, a few will tolerate you, and even fewer still will have nothing to do with you... Just like real life. That said, this is a "safe zone" any bias because of your gender will not be tolerated.
Typically one would not want to out a transgender but I would suggest you put a little info in the "about you" section of your stats page. Reason being, people will look at your stats and give you information based on a small man, not for someone with your unique goals.
This link to a recent discussion will be an eye opener. I think it was to a lot of people.

I'm interested to know why you waited so long to transition, you can PM me if you'd rather keep things private.
Welcome to eroids brother, sent a FR, feel free to PM if you ever need some guidance (I'll help as much as I can and always point you in the right direction.)
bigmurphWelcome to eroids alot of knowledge here. Use the magnifying glass up top to search and you can basically find out about any question you have. There is the ladies lounge and even though you are in transition i imagine for now they can help better than most with the gear questions. Good luck to you.
TronYou are who you are and the beauty of life and free will allows you to become whom you want to be.. So that being said. Let's forget about your transitional period. You want to be a man so that's what you will be. None of that is relevant to you becoming one of our welcomed members here. So welcome aboard! And forget about anybody giving you shit about your personal choices..if they do I can assure you our mods wont let that shit fly.
you got that right
I am grateful for true human beings like yourself. A million thanks for the warm welcome!
TronGlad you are here my friend.
Let's put it this way so no one can say I didn't warn them. Anyone makes one single remark that I think isn't appropriate they are gone. Don't care who it is.
I didn't think I'd feel so good about joining up so early. Thank you for your kindness!
Very welcome and good luck.
