finasteride (oral vs topical)

Gonna be using test starting out at 1gram this cycle and progressively get to 2 grams.
Im concerned with potential hairloss.
right now i have topical spiro, 2% nizoral.
I'm hoping to use finasteride would help.
i'd like to know which would be more effective with less sides. topical fina or oral.
Anyone?
