+ 2 DO NOT NEGLECT BLOOD WORK
ad
Alright guys
I did my last show of the year in November of last year... took a good 2 months off. Started back my offseason cycle as I am trying to qualify for the Olympia this year. Got blood work about 2 weeks into cycle because I was getting checked for cancer because it runs in my family BAD... well my HDL came back 11. There is no way my HDL dropped to 11 in the 2 weeks on my offseason cycle.
I can only imagine what it was in the weeks before that.
I dropped my orals, upped my omega 3's and lowered my oils as well. No trophy or body is more important than health. I am attempting to bring my HDL naturally without using perscriptions meds.
PLEASE DO NOT NEGLECT BLOODWORK

Were you running superdrol? Superdrol will bring your hdl down from a good level to shit in 10 days, the stuff is horrible for your lipids. Hows the rest of your bloods? Its really hard to raise hdl, it just takes alot of fucking intense cardio, and a good diet and like said below niacin has been shown to help. But decreasing LDL and your triglycerides is pretty simple, 2400mgs of red yeast rice twice a day, its a natural satin, pharm companies tried to have it pulled becuase it works so damn well, almost as good as all the rx stuff like lipitor and shit, then 20mgs policansol once a day, and like you said alot of omega 3s. Some garlic extract wont hurt, nor will coQ10. Hope you get it all worked out bro.
Agreed health is priority all the aas in the world won't help if your dead.
Look into nicotinic acid, a form of niacin (B3) shown to have positive HDL effects in some individuals. Be careful though since it also can be toxic in too high doses.

is one example study, it looks in combination with another chemical and also in isolation
Also since you are not on orals, moderate consumption of alcohol (wine and beer, not spirits) is linked to a slight increase to HDL.
