Deca question...

ad

I have read Deca-Durabolin has a 1/2 life of 6-7 days, detectable to 18 months. Test C has a 1/ 2 life of 7-8 days but detection time of 3 months. Does this mean that Deca will increase my testosterone levels for a longer time post injection than Test? Does it take longer for the Deca in the body to taper off? Or is this just detectability like marijuana vs cocaine in drug tests? Effects run out in hours for each but it can be detected for longer....

Thx

What are you hiding from?

Deca's half life is double but this does not play a role in it´s detection time. NPP still has a detection time of 12 months although it has only a half life of 3 days. So this just goes to show it does not have only have to do wtith the half life but rather the compound itself, although the half life can effect the detection time of the compound.
Example:
Nandrolone decanoate (Deca Durabol) 15-18 months
Nandrolone Phenylpropionate (NPP) 10-12 months
Also, if you are worried about getting caught, why would use deca? That is probably the worst drug. If you just use straight testosterone then you don't need to give a fuck about detection times, just inject epitestosterone and you won't get caught. Often testosterone levels are measured against Epitestosterone levels and if the pure testosterone level is greater than 6:1 Test:Epi you will get caught.

I think that deca and other steroids can show elevated test levels on a blood test. It did to me several times. But it does not mean that you have more testosterone in you'r system.

Your deca was something else then.

No. Also boldenone only have given huge elevated test levels. Search about it..

You need to be using the LS/MSMS testing method and not ECLIA. If using any type of 19nor the ECLIA will show whacked out numbers. Test serum levels will be screwed up with Deca and estro levels will be screwed with tren. Think you are fine with EQ and ECLIA testing method.

Thank you this is exactly what I was looking for. I did not understand that deca didn't raise testosterone levels. I thought all PED's raised "testosterone" in the body.

I have done nothing but my prescribed testosterone C. I am doing pure research at this time.

Thanks again

Decanoate esters have an approximate 15 day terminal half life no matter the hormone bound to it. No, deca will not increase your total test levels as its not testosterone. Testosterone is the only thing that will up your levels of testosterone. Everything else in the aas world merely mimics testosterone to the point it fools your feedback loop and shuts you down. Test shuts you down too but it will show on blood tests as total serum.

Deca is detachable for so long because of the metabolites that its broken down into. If you want a testosterone ester that is equal in terms of active half life with deca then youd want test decanoate. This is why sustanon has the 15-18 day half life due to the ester. There are a total of 4 esters in sust though which can cause major fluctuations for some. Its easier to deal with a single ester.

The deca will stop being suppressive after the total life of deca is ran through by your bodies own metabolism. Give or take approximately 50-75ish days possibly but thats dose dependent.

As for drug testing your employer would have to specifically test for aas which most (98%) dont. Yes, the metabolites are present but youre not going to fail a 12 panel test or any narcotic test.

Are you using deca and test currently? Its very concerning you havent researched this. These questions are common knowledge. Good luck.

Hello Sir,

Not sure about your previous experience with PEDs and what is the purpose of your question.
However if you consider to administer this hormone on it's own in decent quantities, it is very very bad idea.
This is what is going to happen, if taken on it's own, your testosterone hormone will drop to zeros within couple few days, that will also trigger female hormones to go above reference range and all the side effects from AAS you have ever read about, will more likely appear.
I thought I had to explain this in case you consider implementing this hormone. Also there are a lot of educational information on eRoids you will be able to find about every substance seperetly.
Hope this helps.

Regards

I got the 1/2 lives off pharmastore websites but my question doesn't really depend on exact numbers.

If I inject Testosterone C and the 1/2 life is 12-14 days. I go to the doctor and get me blood work done. I will have elevated testosterone levels. I'm not saying I'm producing those levels naturally.

If I inject comparable dosage of Deca (which seems to be 1/2 the mg of test C per pharmastore) and the 1/2 life is 6-7 days. I go to the doctor and get my blood work done. I will have elevated testosterone levels. Again not naturally.

1/2 life means how long it takes to decrease in your body. This says that Testerone C lasts longer (producing elevated testosterone in the blood- unnatrually of course) than Deca. So if I go back after 5 weeks to get blood work for both products, the test C will produce higher testosterone levels longer than deca (un-naturally of course). Is my understanding correct?

The reason I question this is I also reviewed detection times and it appears that deca (18 momths) is detected much much longer than Test products (3 months). And I assume this has to do with my analogy of marijuana vs cocaine above. There must be something in the deca that makes it bind to the body and not go away. But I assume this is different than and doesn't effect 1/2 life. Is my understanding correct?

Thanks

Deca isn't going to elevate your test levels. It will shut you down because your body thinks it's test but it is not. You are on hrt correct? Your concern is going in for your regular testing for the therapy and the doc finding out your banging some deca. I don't think they will test you for other androgens . So the detection time shouldn't matter. Maybe that's what your talking about?

I think test E has a half life of 7-8. I believe test C is 12-14 days

You’re mixing up your hormones and half lives here

lethaltradeindustries's picture

before you start anything you need to do some research.

Does this mean that Deca will increase my testosterone levels for a longer time post injection than Test?

This statement alone tells us you haven't done your research. There are informative sites with lists of anabolic profiles. You can research proper use of each chemical, what they will or wont do for you, side effects etc.

I’ve seen the claims of 6-7 days on a few websites. Others say 15 days, which makes sense. Decanoate has a longer half life than all the other esters, excluding undecanoate, so I think there’s some misinformation out there that will get some guys in trouble with that slow build up, if they follow the 6-7 day thing.
There’s a reason why most people stop deca a few weeks prior to ending test. I also believe the slow build is why some people have complications with deca. It’s injected in a twice a week regimen. At the end of a cycle, a simple 300 mg a week has more overlap than a test c or e would, and blood levels are more highly concentrated than that 300 a week.
Hopefully the people reading that stuff are also finding their way here.

Short and sweet, i should have scrolled all the way down. Excellent response brother
